景觀設(shè)計(jì)：詹姆斯·希契莫夫，湯姆·斯圖爾特·史密斯

我們此次設(shè)計(jì)的靈感源自絲綢之路，由東向西穿過(guò)中國(guó)干燥的中部草原。我們的花園根據(jù)植物的生物地理起源，選用絲綢之路景觀帶沿線(xiàn)的植物，構(gòu)建從中國(guó)到西方的花園旅程。通過(guò)花園植被的設(shè)計(jì)，集中體現(xiàn)城市森林、節(jié)水園林、海綿城市等生態(tài)概念。借此展園表達(dá)，中國(guó)，作為一個(gè)地跨東西的大國(guó)，必將以新的貿(mào)易路線(xiàn)、交通運(yùn)輸方式和各類(lèi)交流，使各國(guó)變得更近，使世界變得更小。

The garden is inspired by the idea of the Silk Road, crossing the steppes of China from east to west. The East-West nature of the Silk Road is reflected in the bio-geographic origins of the plant species used across the garden, and the journey of each visitor through the garden. The show garden is a platform to present ecological concepts such as Urban Forest, Water-saving Landscape and Sponge City. The garden also conveys a message about the significance of China as a nation that spans from East to West and how new trade routes and methods of transport and communication are forever making the world a more connected place.
