信息時(shí)代，惜時(shí)如金，于是電話就成了人們交流的快捷工具。約會(huì)、求醫(yī)、尋親訪友、拜望老師、商務(wù)往來等，都要事先打電話聯(lián)系。

打電話或接電話能反映一個(gè)人的修養(yǎng)，所以我們用英語打電話時(shí)要用規(guī)范的語言，并注意說話的方式及語氣。

◆溫馨解讀

1.電話接通，說想找某人接電話時(shí)，應(yīng)說“Hello!Could/May I speak to...?（喂，請(qǐng)……接電話好嗎？）”或者“Hello!I'd like to speak to...（喂，我想找……）”。

2.詢問對(duì)方是不是某人時(shí)，應(yīng)說“Is that...speaking?（你是……嗎？）”，不可以說“Are you...?”。

3.想知道接電話的人是誰時(shí)，用“Who's calling/speaking/that?（您是哪位？）”。

4.在向?qū)Ψ浇榻B自己時(shí)，用“This is...speaking.（我是……）”，而不說“I'm...”。

5.當(dāng)接到對(duì)方打錯(cuò)的電話時(shí)，應(yīng)說“Sorry,wrong number./Sorry,nobody here by that number./I'm sorry,but you must have the wrong./Sorry,I think you have the wrong number.（對(duì)不起，你打錯(cuò)了。 ）”。

6.當(dāng)電話要找的人不在時(shí)，可以說一句“Sorry,...isn't here right now.（抱歉，……目前不在這里。）”。

7.讓對(duì)方等待需找的人時(shí)，可以說“Hold on,please./Just a moment,please./Hold on the line,please.（請(qǐng)稍后。 ）”。

8.想要為對(duì)方轉(zhuǎn)述電話時(shí)，可以說“Can I leave her a message for you?/Can I take a message?/Would you like me to relay a message for you?（我可以為你捎個(gè)口信嗎？ ）”。

9.如果聽不清對(duì)方的話，可以說一句“Sorry.I can't hear you./Sorry.I couldn't get through.（對(duì)不起，我聽不清楚你說的話。）”。

10.撥打電話，但未撥通時(shí)，你可以說“The line is bad/busy.（線路不好。 ）”。
