勵(lì)展收購(gòu)印度BIG7
勵(lì)展博覽集團(tuán)宣布已經(jīng)收購(gòu)了1993年創(chuàng)立的孟買年度展覽會(huì)BIG7。展會(huì)主要針對(duì)禮品、文具、書(shū)寫工具、辦公用品、小工具、家庭用品、廚具和家居裝飾行業(yè)。勵(lì)展印度公司首席執(zhí)行官Gregory Zaraisky說(shuō):“我們認(rèn)識(shí)展會(huì)原主辦方負(fù)責(zé)人Jivesh Sachdev和他的旗艦活動(dòng)India BIG7兩年多了,我們對(duì)他的團(tuán)隊(duì)不斷創(chuàng)新的努力印象非常深刻?!毕乱粚糜《菳IG7將于8月21-24日在孟買展覽中心舉行。
Reed acquires India BIG7
The second acquisition of Reed Exhibitions in 2019 has been announced: The British exhibition organiser has taken over control of the annual Mumbaibased event founded in 1993 which targets the gifts, stationery, writing instruments, office supplies, gadgets, houseware, kitchenware and home décor industries, India BIG7. Gregory Zaraisky, CEO, Reed Exhibitions, India, states; "Having known Jivesh Sachdev and his flagship event India BIG7 for more than two years, we have been very impressed by the teams continuous drive to innovate, keep the event on-trend while focusing on the customers needs today and in the future. By joining forces, we can increase customer value and help accelerate the transformation of the industries which urgently need investment, innovation and new technologies." BIG7 joins a growing portfolio of Reed Exhibitions gift shows in Germany, Japan, Australia and China. The next edition of India BIG7, held in the Bombay Exhibition Centre, will take place from August 21 to 24, 2019.

Upgrading for MECC Maastricht
The upgrade and expansion of MECC Maastricht will begin in June 2019. The total investment involved is 49 million. The Province of Limburg and the municipality of Maastricht will each contribute an additional 6.8 million to finance the upgrade and expansion of MECC Maastricht. Alderman John Aarts of Maastricht is happy that the renovation works can begin. "We are grateful that the province is once again helping with the financing. This proves how important MECC Maastricht is for our city and for Limburg, particularly now that the municipality of Maastricht has regained control over the conference centre, we are seeing that the MECC is working hard on the future." The work for the upgrade and expansion of MECC Maastricht has been awarded to Mertens Bouwbedrijf BV in Weert.

Fira de Barcelona extends venues
Fira de Barcelona will expand and remodel its Gran Via and Montju?c: The Gran Via venue, designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito, currently has a total exhibition area of 240,000 sqm, which will be extended by 60,000 sqm with the construction of a new two-storey building and premises for offices and services. With this initiative, scheduled to be completed in 2024, the venue will increase in size to 300,000 sqm. The Montju?c venue, which was built on the occasion of the 1929 International Exhibition, will be remodelled to include functional, versatile and sustainable facilities, whilst retaining the essence of this historical and urban site. Trade fair and congress locations and entrepreneurial and co-working areas will be created, as well as other spaces designed for cultural and public use. This major trade fair infrastructure project, valued at 380 million euros, has the support of the Catalan institutions.
