項(xiàng)目位于江蘇省常州市的一個(gè)科技園區(qū)里，原來是一處標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的工業(yè)廠房。設(shè)計(jì)面臨三大難題：如何調(diào)整既有空間體積與目標(biāo)空間尺度之間的反差？如何控制造價(jià)，創(chuàng)造出吸引人的新空間？如何經(jīng)濟(jì)有效地實(shí)現(xiàn)新空間的環(huán)境舒適度？最后采用“屋中屋”的設(shè)計(jì)策略，即在主體廠房內(nèi)部建造完整的新形式的獨(dú)立建筑物來容納兩個(gè)主要功能。平行布置的兩條南北走向、高大筆直的“屋中屋”透明艙體，一個(gè)采用輕鋼結(jié)構(gòu)，另外一個(gè)采用鋼木混合結(jié)構(gòu)。兩個(gè)構(gòu)筑物的外輪廓完全一致，而采用不同的材料是為了與其使用功能的調(diào)性相匹配。

主體廠房采用自然通風(fēng)充當(dāng)使用空間的第一道防護(hù)，形成初步的環(huán)境，兩個(gè)新增構(gòu)筑物采用新風(fēng)系統(tǒng)形成各自定制的、獨(dú)立、全封閉的空調(diào)環(huán)境。設(shè)備系統(tǒng)的布置方式，不僅解決了功能問題，而且最終在空間中呈現(xiàn)出一套與結(jié)構(gòu)完全結(jié)合的、完整的視覺造型體系。

3 棉倉主入口/Main entrance of Cotton Lab

Located in a technology park in Changzhou city, Jiangsu Province, Cotton Lab Urban Lounge was a standard industrial factory. There are several challenges, for instance, how to coordinate and bridge the gap between large-sized inner space of a factory and small-sized space for retail and catering consumption?How to create attractive space at lower cost? How to make the new space comfortable economically as the original factory building is simply designed and energy-costing? Finally designers chose a "House in House" strategy which aims to build a complete newtype independent structure inside the main factory building to balance these two major functions. Two high, straight and transparent chambers go parallel in north-south direction, one with light steel structure and the other as steel-wood mixed structure. The two structures have the same profile. This unique structure system was aimed to provide appropriate atmosphere for designed activities.

The main factory building adopts natural ventilation as the first defence for the space to form an initial environment while two newly-added structures apply innovative ventilation system to establish an independent and fully closed airconditioning environment separately. Such system allocation does not only solve the functional problems but also eventually emerge as a complete set of visual model fully matching to the structure in the space.

評(píng)委評(píng)語

在這個(gè)實(shí)驗(yàn)性改造項(xiàng)目中，融合了空間、建造、美學(xué)、體驗(yàn)等多個(gè)方面的思考和設(shè)計(jì)。

在大型單一空間的舊廠房內(nèi)增加“屋中屋”，為不同的功能區(qū)提供了相對(duì)合理的小空間，改造方式新穎，節(jié)約造價(jià)，且便于再次改造。在兩個(gè)相同輪廓的內(nèi)置房屋中使用完全不同的結(jié)構(gòu)：展示空間選用鋼結(jié)構(gòu)，借助鋼結(jié)構(gòu)向上的趨勢(shì)營造空靈感受，強(qiáng)調(diào)空間的純粹性，突出展品；就餐空間選用鋼木混合結(jié)構(gòu)，利用木材的溫暖質(zhì)感和層疊交錯(cuò)覆蓋的形式，創(chuàng)造柔和且尺度宜人的環(huán)境。這既是一項(xiàng)關(guān)于建造可能性的實(shí)驗(yàn)，也是將建造方式作為視覺設(shè)計(jì)元素的美學(xué)嘗試，體現(xiàn)了建造和藝術(shù)的有機(jī)結(jié)合。

作為網(wǎng)店延續(xù)的線下實(shí)體店鋪，建筑的體驗(yàn)感也得到了較好的實(shí)現(xiàn)。透明界面的“屋中屋”保證視線貫通，預(yù)留的大空間也為后期舉辦活動(dòng)提供了足夠的場(chǎng)地。

Jury Statement

This experimental renovation project is designed to integrate a variety of elements, including space,construction, aesthetics, and experience.

In a large monospace (an old factory building), a"house-in-house" has been built to provide a relatively reasonable small space for each functional area. The renovation method is novel and cost-saving, allowing for a second renovation. Two built-in houses with the same profile have completely different structures. The exhibition space is steel-structured. The upward steel structure creates a sense of vacancy and highlights the purity of the space, giving prominence to the exhibits.The dining space is a hybrid structure of steel and wood. The warm feeling inspired by the wood and the form of interlaced stacking ensure that the hybrid structure creates a mild and agreeable environment.This project is not only an experiment in construction possibilities but also an aesthetic attempt to take the innovative construction techniques as visual design elements. It embodies a perfect integration of construction and art.

As the continuation of an online shop, this physical outlet also provides a satisfactory experience for the benefit of visitors. The "house-in-house" of the transparent interface ensures a good view, and the reserved large space is well-prepared for conducting various scheduled activities or events.
