I n 1990, the Shennongjia Forestry District was listed as a member of the Man and Biosphere Program by the United Nations Educational,Scientific,and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).Among the 193 biogeographic regions on this list in the world,it is the most typical and well-preserved ecosystem in the middle latitudes.

On August 6,2018,the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies approved the founding of the Forest Health Research Committee and set up its secretariat in Shennongjia,signifying the first professional forest health research organization in Hubei Province.Its founding was an important event in Shennongjia.

Sang Binsheng,secretary-general of the federation,said that Chinese medicines had been applied and made use of by 183 countries and regions in the world at present.As the world’s largest international academic organization, the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies has 264 group members and 175 branches in 69 countries and regions on five continents.It is a full member of the World Health Organization, an Accredited Advisory Institution of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection,and the A-level liaison Organization of the ISO/TC249.

The federation has always been committed to the international interaction of Chinese medicine.It engages in organizing this forum,trying to play a leading role in the field of international healthcare in the following three aspects:One is to set up an international platform of Chinese medicine healthcare; the second is to establish cooperation with other regions and provinces to explore the workable modes of Chinese medicine and healthcare;and the third is to offer the solutions on the integration of Chinese medicine and healthcare,the protection and utilization of Chinese medicinal material resources,and the development of the forest health industry as well as forestry tourism and other development modes,in line with the policies of“Belt and Road Initiative,”thus enabling Chinese medicine to serve people better worldwide.

放眼國(guó)際服務(wù)健康

1990年，神農(nóng)架林區(qū)加入聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織“人和生物圈計(jì)劃”世界生物圈保護(hù)區(qū)網(wǎng)，它在全球193個(gè)生物地理省中，代表了中緯度地區(qū)最具典型意義的、保存完好的生態(tài)系統(tǒng)。

2018年8月6日，世界中醫(yī)藥學(xué)會(huì)聯(lián)合會(huì)，批準(zhǔn)成立森林康養(yǎng)研究專業(yè)委員會(huì)，秘書處設(shè)在神農(nóng)架，成為湖北省首個(gè)專業(yè)森林康養(yǎng)研究組織。這件事對(duì)于神農(nóng)架具有重要而現(xiàn)實(shí)的意義。

聯(lián)合會(huì)秘書長(zhǎng)桑濱生介紹，當(dāng)前，中醫(yī)藥在國(guó)際上已經(jīng)走進(jìn)全球183個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)。作為全球最大的中醫(yī)藥國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)組織，世界中聯(lián)已擁有全球五大洲69個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)的264個(gè)團(tuán)體會(huì)員，175個(gè)分支機(jī)構(gòu)，是世界衛(wèi)生組織非政府組織正式成員、聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)咨詢機(jī)構(gòu)，是國(guó)家標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化組織中醫(yī)藥技術(shù)委員會(huì)的A級(jí)聯(lián)絡(luò)組織。

世界中聯(lián)一直以來致力于中醫(yī)藥國(guó)際傳播，參與組織本次論壇，是為了更好發(fā)揮中醫(yī)藥在國(guó)際大健康領(lǐng)域的作用。一是搭建國(guó)際中醫(yī)藥健康養(yǎng)生交流平臺(tái)；二是與有健康養(yǎng)生特色的省份和地區(qū)合作，探索中醫(yī)藥健康養(yǎng)生的產(chǎn)業(yè)融合模式；三是助力“一帶一路”建設(shè)，研究中國(guó)方案，探討中醫(yī)藥健康養(yǎng)生新模式、中藥材資源保護(hù)與利用、森林康養(yǎng)產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展和林業(yè)養(yǎng)生旅游等方面發(fā)展途徑，讓中醫(yī)藥更好地為世界人民健康做貢獻(xiàn)。
