2. impress vt. 使印象深刻

（1） impress為及物動詞，意為“給……留下了深刻的印象；使意識到（重要性或嚴(yán)重性等）”。

（2） 其被動式be impressed較常用，后可接with/by。

10. information n. 信息

information為不可數(shù)名詞，沒有復(fù)數(shù)形式。a piece of information表示“一則消息”。

常用搭配：information on/about sb/sth 有關(guān)某人/某事的消息。

帕特拒絕向她提供任何關(guān)于薩拉的消息。

Each centre would provide information on technology and training.

11. look forward to 期盼；盼望

look forward to后面只能跟動名詞或名詞，而且常用be looking forward to表示“一直在期待”。

I am looking forward to seeing you soon.

I look forward to your reply.

我期盼著你的回復(fù)。

12. be divided into... 被分成……

The apple was divided into three pieces.

13. take part in 參加

Will you take part in the English evening？

We should take an active part in school activities.

比較：take part in，join和join in的區(qū)別

（1） take part in指參加群眾性活動、會議、勞動、游行等，著重說明句子主語參加該項(xiàng)活動，并在活動中發(fā)揮作用。

Take part in something you believe in.

參與到你所信仰的事情當(dāng)中。

When you take part in any performance， you get out as much as you put in.

你參加任何活動，你投入多少力量就會得到多少收獲。

（2） join多指參加組織、團(tuán)體、黨派等，并成為其中的一員，后面跟人時(shí)表示和某人一起參加某項(xiàng)活動。
