The movie starts in a city. A little girl lives with her strict（嚴(yán)格的） mum. The mum wants the little girl to enter（進入）a good school. So the little girl studies a lot.

The little girl’s neighbor（鄰居） is an interesting old pilot（飛行員）. He has a broken（壞掉的） airplane in his backyard（后院）. He likes to work on his plane in the day and watch the stars at night. He makes friends with the little girl. He tells the little girl about his story.

He crashes（墜毀） his plane in the desert（沙漠）. There he meets the Little Prince. The Little Prince lives on a small planet（星球） with a beautiful rose. He loves the rose very much，but the rose lies（撒謊） to him. The Little Prince is sad and leaves the planet. He visits other planets and meets many people. But these people are disappointing（讓人失望的）. At last the Little Prince arrives on earth.

The little girl is very interested in the story. She wants to fly the old pilot’s plane to meet the Little Prince. Now she begins the journey（旅程） ...
