Study on Selection of Foundation Base of Super High Arch Dam

Selection of foundation base directly affects the shape，hydraulic thrust and engineering quantity of arch dams，which is he key issue related to the safety，duration and investment of arch dams.This text analyzes and compares the proposed foundation base scheme of a super high arch dam project in Xinjiang from the aspects of arch end embedded depth，geometric parameters of arch dam shape，arch body stress，dam abutment stability and foundation treatment according to the basic principle of foundation base selection，and finally determines the foundation base scheme.The method can provide a reference for the selection of foundation base for super high arch dam in the future.

Treatment of Drainage Tunnel Face and Slope of a Nuclear Power Plant

Limited by the layout，topographic and geological conditions，the inlet section of drainage tunnel of a nuclear power plant is situated in deep slope residual layer.Reinforced concrete cast-in-place pile plus prestressed anchor rope reinforcement is designed to replace the large area excavation scheme.Dynamic analysis and calculation are carried out in the process of excavation and support construction.It determines the reasonable anchor rope spacing and anchorage force according to the field situation and measured data，puts forward measures of controlling the deformation of foundation pit and support structure，and has obtained good effect.It can provide reference for similar projects.

Field Test Technology and Progress of Hydraulic Machinery

After years of development，hydraulic machinery field test has experienced study from conventional energy performance test to internal characteristics and dynamic characteristics，and parameter characteristics study from steady state operating conditions to transition process conditions.It greatly improves the field test technology and test accuracy through intelligent testing technology，advanced sensor manufacturing and information technology development.At the same time，it has achieved great improvement in the stress of key components and runner blade dynamic stress test in the field operation of hydraulic machinery，which has made corresponding contribution to the prediction on the operation fatigue and service life of the unit.
