Yes, I am 25 now. It was a simple creative writing homework from when I was 15. The teacher collected our letters and promised to mail them ten years later. But, so much time had passed, would he even remember? I remember,my 15-year-old self wanted to make sure I would continue to write and figure skate.
Then, on a family vacation inSan Diego注1, my parents brought me the mail from home. In1)scrawled2)ink,there was a letter addressed to myself. I knew it was the one! I laughed happily and could not believe what was in my hands.
Here are two important parts of the letter, which I found important and beautiful:
My 15-year-old self was so stressed!5)Thus,much of my letter to myself was filled with advice and hopes that I wouldn’t stress and worry so much in the future, and that I wouldn’t forget to enjoy my life! It was so wise and sweet.

My 15-year-old self did not have any7)demandsof me. Instead, she wrote “…So I guess I’ll stand by whatever you do, because even if you are not who I imagine now, I’ll support you, because maybe who I’m imagining is someone else, and you are―well you’re not someone else, you’re me.”
I was blown away, and tears welled up in my eyes at this self-acceptance through time. I8)immediately wrote a thank-you letter to my high school teacher and sent it in the mail.
Time travel is possible, and we can learn a lot by seeing ourselves as an9)ever-changing being. Happy travels!

I have forgotten her name.
I forgot opening the window.
He forgot to do his homework.
辨析:forget to do sth.和forget doing sth.
forget to do sth.
Don’t forget to tell her to call me back soon.
I forget meeting him before.
