Historic temple’s relocation completed

Sept. 18， 2017 （ECNS） -- The work to move the Grand Hall of Shanghai’s Jade Buddha Temple 31 meters north and to raise it 1 meter high was completed. The temple， named for the two jade Buddha statues it houses， was first built in 1882 on the outskirts of Shanghai. And a special ceremony attended by monks， abbots and thousands of Buddhist believers was held to celebrate the successful relocation of the hall.
