2008年，SCDA受新加坡建屋發(fā)展局委托，制定全新的公共住房設(shè)計方案。最終，SCDA拿出的解決方案包含了三個關(guān)鍵概念：園林住宅、與自然環(huán)境的聯(lián)系以及多代同堂。

該項目將于2015年竣工，以解決新加坡公共住房的需求。新加坡的人口在2000年至2011年間已從400萬增加至520萬。項目位于市中心附近的Dawson區(qū)，由五座塔樓組成，每棟塔樓40至43層不等，裙樓是停車庫。本項目建成后，將有三面與綠化無縫連接。地面上繁茂的景觀園林，建筑外立面的綠植天臺、屋頂花園和兩幢塔樓間的綠色摩天臺，都使得綠色建筑的概念在項目中得到深化。

一系列主動和被動式的休閑空間為更廣泛的社區(qū)交流提供了場地，進而推動普及社區(qū)化建筑這一概念。這些社區(qū)空間和綜合休閑設(shè)施存在于公園式的空間內(nèi)，使住戶得以享受自然環(huán)境。本項目采用了諸多可持續(xù)化科技，比如滴灌技術(shù)、雨水集蓄、生物貯水池和太陽能系統(tǒng)等。

In 2008, SCDA was commissioned by HDB to explore new possibilities in public housing design in Singapore.SCDA’s response to this mandate is a design solution that embodies three key ideas; housing in a park,connectivity to surroundings and multi-generational living.

Addressing singapore’s need to expand public housing, SCDA architects designed ‘Skyterrace@Dawson’,which is set to be completed in 2015, serving a country whose population increased from 4 million to 5.2 million from 2000 to 2011. The project is located near metropolis’s downtown, in the area of Dawson. The complex is composed of five towers ranging from 40 to 43 stories, and sits atop a podium containing parking.

The vegetated bridges encourage elevator-free leisure for occupants and a reinforce a sense of community. The configuration of the housing modules allows for extended families to occupy interconnected loft units, which recreates the multi-generational village in a vertical arrangement. In may 2014, SCDA architects received singapore’s 5-star award for residential high-rise architecture for the‘skyterrace@dawson’ project.

The design incorporates many ecologically conscious technologies, such as drip irrigation, rainwater harvesting, bio-retention basins and solar energy systems.
