雖然現(xiàn)在通訊發(fā)達(dá),隨時(shí)都能聯(lián)系到他人,可是偶爾還是會(huì)遇到找不到人要委托別人傳話(huà)的情況。但又應(yīng)該怎樣請(qǐng)求別人幫忙捎信呢?

背景知識(shí)?
“Would you mind giving/sending him a message/a message to him?”是要求別人捎信時(shí)比較客氣的說(shuō)法,動(dòng)詞“mind”常用于疑問(wèn)句、否定句及回答問(wèn)話(huà)的肯定句中,表示“介意,反對(duì)”。

病人在訴說(shuō)具體病情時(shí),可說(shuō)“I have a headache (stomachache, toothache, earache, sore back, sore throat, sore leg, sore eye).(我頭疼(胃疼、牙疼、耳朵疼、背疼、喉嚨疼、腿疼、眼睛疼)。)”。
1Excuse me. 對(duì)不起;打擾一下。
— Excuse me. Could you tell me how to get to the post offce?
對(duì)不起。您能否告訴我去郵局怎么走?
— Of course. Turn right at the next intersection[十字路口]and go straight. The post offce will be on your left. 當(dāng)然可以。在下個(gè)十字路口右轉(zhuǎn)后直走。郵局就在你的左邊。
分析▲“Excuse me.”通常有引起對(duì)方注意的含義,最常使用的場(chǎng)合為請(qǐng)人讓路或問(wèn)路的時(shí)候。它與“I’m sorry.”雖同表“對(duì)不起?!保谟梅ㄉ先杂兴町??!癊xcuse me.”并不代表自己確實(shí)犯錯(cuò),而使用“I’m sorry.”時(shí)一般是自己確實(shí)犯了錯(cuò)。相似的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)還有:1) Pardon me. 2) Sorry to interrupt you. 3) I hate to bother you.

分析▲當(dāng)看到某人精神抖擻或氣色頗佳時(shí),可用此句表達(dá)贊賞,聽(tīng)者必定十分喜悅。也可以說(shuō):1) You look wonderful!2) You look fantastic!

— I’ve really enjoyed your party, Lisa. 這次宴會(huì)我玩得好高興噢,麗薩。
