As one of the important cooperation forms,International Training Program (ITP) has been hosted by Chinese government for many decades, for the benefit of enhancing development on science & technology of developing countries and deepening the affiliation between the two parties. In 2017, there is totally 67 programs held in and outside of China, “International Training Program on Environment Friendly and Safety of Household Care Chemical Products Technology” is one of the workshops,which has been organized by China Research Institute of Daily Chemical Industry (RIDCI), during 3 to 22 September in Taiyuan and Beijing sequentially.

RIDCI is a professional state-owned research institute specialized in R & D of surfactant, detergent and cosmetics industries in China. With the deepening of Chinese reform and opening-up and the implementation of national strategy “One Belt and One Road” advocated by Chinese government, RIDCI has been focusing on intensifying global science and technology cooperation with other countries. As the only national scientific research institute of daily chemical industry in China,RIDCI has made great contribution to the field since from its establishment in 1930s. In 2015, RIDCI has organized the workshop initially, which is the first internationallevel training program of daily chemical industry in China, and serving as the National International Science and Technology Cooperation Base approved by Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), P.R. China. This year, it comes to the second time of its organization of this program, with the admission of 18 international trainees from Asia and Africa including Iran, Bangladesh,Mongolia, Egypt, Indonesia, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Pakistan, Thailand, Zimbabwe and the Philippines. Most of them are technical personnel,researchers, corporate executives or government officials in their own countries.

Basically, the objective of this workshop is to raise people’s consciousness of the safety of household care chemical products; to shape a good understanding of basic knowledge and theories about safety of household products and materials,and to realize the current situation and development trend of technology and market situation of household and personal eare industry in China, etc.

The main agenda includes lectures delivery, field trip and sightseeing tours. During the academic lectures section, the basic types of household care products and establishment of evaluation system of environment friendly and safety has been introduced to the trainees,which is helpful to the acquisition of development trend of Chinese household care products and the surfactant industry. In addition, during the visiting studies to local representative enterprises, the trainees also have gained full exchange of experiences and discussion among two sides, promoting the bilateral interaction with each other.The places visited during the workshop are as following:NaFine Chemical Co., Ltd.; School of Science of Beijing Technology and Business University; Reward Group; and Beijing LvSan Chemistry Co., Ltd.
