親愛的朋友，你讀過(guò)安徒生寫的《丑小鴨》嗎？這不，徐州市淮海西路中心小學(xué)的同學(xué)們把這一經(jīng)典童話搬上了舞臺(tái)。瞧，草叢里鴨媽媽正在孵蛋呢，有顆巨大的白蛋左右晃動(dòng)著，丑小鴨寶寶快要破殼而出啦……

Narrator： What a nice day！ Mother duck sits on her eggs for

a long time. After a while， one by one， ducklings come out.

Ducklings： Peep， peep ...

Mother duck： Quack， quack！ Are you all out？

Duckling 1： No， one egg is still here. Look， how big it is！

Mother duck： Oh， my god！ The big egg opens. This duckling is so big， and ugly. Is it a turkey？

Frog： I cant believe！

Fish： Never mind. Who cares！

Mother duck： Lets go into the water. Follow me， babies！

Ducklings： OK. Lets go.

Mother duck： Heres the pond. Jump into the water.

Other animals： Jump， jump.

Duckling 1： Oh， Im scared.

Duckling 2： Im scared， too.

Duckling 3： I dare not jump.

Other animals： Be brave！ Be brave！

Ugly duckling： Im brave. I can jump into the water. See？ I can swim very well.

Butterfly： Look， she can swim. Turkeys cant swim.

Mother duck： So she is my child. Lets go back home. Stay close to me. Look out for the cat！ Shes dangerous！

Duckling 1： Look at her！ She looks so strange.

Duckling 2： She is so big and ugly. Go away！

Duckling 3： I dont like her！

Duckling 1&2： We dont like her， either.

Mother duck： Dont do that. She does no harm to you.

Ugly duckling： Yes. Im your sister.

Duckling 3： But we dont like you.

Duckling 1： We dont like to play with you.

Duckling 2： Youre ugly. Go away！

Ugly duckling： Poor me！ They dont like me. I have to go.

Rabbit and Bird： Ugly. Ugly.

Frog and Fish： Go away. Go away.

Ugly duckling： Im ugly？ Maybe they are right.

Narrator： Just then， a hunting dog appears.

Ugly duckling： Oh， the dog is coming. I am afraid of him. But where to hide？ Where to hide？ Oh， just like this.

Dog： Oh， look. Whats that？ Maybe its delicious food ... Wow！ So terrible！ You are ugly！

Ugly duckling： Oh， no one wants me. Even the dog doesnt want to eat me. Im so sad.

Narrator： The poor duckling runs away. And a storm comes. Where should she go？

Ugly duckling： Its raining heavily. Im so cold！ I must look for shelters（藏身的地方）. Where can I go？

Butterfly： Look， theres a cottage（農(nóng)舍） over there. An old woman， a cat， and a hen live in it. You can go there.

Ugly duckling： Thank you.（Runs there and knocks.） Can I come in？ May I have some food？

Old woman： （OpeZAns the door. Her eyes are very bad. She cant see the ugly duckling clearly.） Oh， dont worry. Ill take you in.

Ugly duckling： Thank you， Granny.
