Once there were three little butterfly brothers，one white，one red，and one yellow. They liked playing in the sunshine and dancing among the flowers in the garden. They never felt tired because they were so happy.

One day，there was a heavy rain，and it wetted their wings. They flew home，but the door was locked and they couldnt find the key. So they had to stay outside，and they became wetter and wetter.

They flew to the red and yellow tulips and said，“Friend Tulips，will you open your flowers and let us in till the storm is over？”

The tulip answered，“The red and yellow butterflies may come in，because they are like us，but the white one may not come in.”

But the red and yellow butterflies said，“If our white brother may not go into your flowers，well stay outside in the rain with him.”

2. a heavy rain一場大雨
