A Record-breaking Renovation The legend Continues

倫敦薩伏伊酒店是兩種藝術(shù)風格的有機融合，朝泰晤士河一面呈現(xiàn)愛德華時代風格，靠斯德蘭特大街一側(cè)為裝飾藝術(shù)風格，設(shè)計師皮埃爾·羅雄 （Pierre Yves Rochon） 將兩種美學特點充分體現(xiàn)在新設(shè)計之中，尊重酒店原貌的個性，例如嶄新的 Beaufort Bar復(fù)原了歷史感十足的裝飾藝術(shù)風格，而著名的美式酒吧幾乎保留了原貌。酒店的 267 間客、套房則是傳統(tǒng)與現(xiàn)代工藝的結(jié)晶，煥發(fā)出薩伏伊獨有的魅力。2016年，盤踞在五層的一套皇室套房再次經(jīng)過重裝嶄新面世，在美麗的泰晤士河之上禁得起時間流逝的洗禮，恒久成為客人優(yōu)雅而舒適的家外之家。

In December 2007， with a budget of ￡100 million， the hotel closed for the first time in history for a complete renovation， a new energy-efficient design reduced the hotel's electricity usage by approximately 50%. The renovation was completed in October 2010 and the final cost grew to ￡220 million， the highest in UK building renovation history. Prince Charles attended the reopening ceremony to celebrate the return of a legend.

The décor of Savoy London is Edwardian on the Thames river side and Art Deco on the Strand side. Designer Pierre Yves Rochon artistically combined the two in the new design， showing respect to the original character of the hotel. For example， the new Beaufort Bar has an Art Deco interior of jet-black and gold， while the American Bar is nearly unchanged. The 267 guestrooms and suites seamlessly blend the traditional with the latest in discreet technology， exuding the signature Savoy charm. In 2016， the Savoy unveiled the entirely remodeled Royal Suite spanning the entire riverside of the fifth floor. Guests are afforded dramatic views from floor to ceiling windows over the River Thames. The Royal Suite is indeed an elegant and comfortable home away from home.

The Savoy is still The Savoy， only better.
