1. Can you play the guitar？

你會(huì)彈吉他嗎？

（1） 句中can是情態(tài)動(dòng)詞，沒有人稱和數(shù)的變化，不能單獨(dú)作謂語，須與別的動(dòng)詞原形共同構(gòu)成謂語。如：

I can sing English songs.

我會(huì)唱英文歌曲。

（2） play the guitar意為“彈吉他”。當(dāng)play后跟樂器時(shí)，應(yīng)用定冠詞the；但play后跟球類時(shí)，不加任何冠詞。如：

play the drum 打鼓

play football 踢足球

2. I want to join the art club.

我想加入藝術(shù)俱樂部。

（1） join v. 加入，成為……的一員；連接

She wants to join the English club.

她想加入英語俱樂部。

Join the two maps together.

把這兩個(gè)地圖連起來。

（2） art n. 藝術(shù)，美術(shù)

an art teacher 美術(shù)老師

an art lesson 一堂美術(shù)課

3. speak English 說英語

speak v. 說（某種語言）；說話

I can speak a little French.

我會(huì)說一點(diǎn)法語。

4. You’re very good at telling stories.

你很擅長(zhǎng)講故事。

（1） be good at意為“擅長(zhǎng)……”，后接名詞、代詞或v-ing形式。如：

I’m good at playing chess.

我擅長(zhǎng)下象棋。

（2） tell v. 講述；告訴

Don’t tell me you are hungry now！

別告訴我你現(xiàn)在就餓了！

tell sb to do sth 讓某人做某事

My mother tells me to get up early.

我媽媽讓我要早起。

我不喜歡沙拉，他也不喜歡沙拉。（用于否定句末）

2. I like to talk and play games with people.

我喜歡說話以及和別人玩游戲。

talk n. v. 說話；交談

Please talk to Mr. Zhang after school.

請(qǐng)?jiān)诜艑W(xué)后找張老師談話。

（1） talk with sb 與某人交談

（2） talk about sth 談?wù)撃呈?/p>

My mother is talking with my teacher about my study.

我媽媽正在和老師談?wù)撐业膶W(xué)習(xí)情況。

比較：speak，tell和talk

speak意為“說話”，可表示說某種語言；tell強(qiáng)調(diào)“告訴”某人某事；talk強(qiáng)調(diào)“談話”。

3. We need help at the old people’s home.

我們?cè)诶先酥倚枰獛椭?/p>

（1） help v. 幫助，幫忙

① help sb （to） do sth 幫助某人做某事

Can you help me （to） carry the box？

你能幫我搬箱子嗎？

② help sb with sth“幫助某人做某事”或“在……方面幫助某人”

My friends often help me with my English.

我的朋友們經(jīng)常幫助我學(xué)習(xí)英語。

③ help n. 幫助，幫忙

（2） home n. adv. 家；到家；在家

I stay at home all day.

我整天待在家。

I go home at five o’clock.

我五點(diǎn)回家。

4. They can tell you stories， and you can make friends.

他們能給你講故事，你能和他們交朋友。

make v. 使成為；制造

We want to make our schoolyard into a beautiful garden.

我們想要把校園變成一個(gè)美麗的花園。

make friends with 和……交朋友

Can I make friends with you？
