        探測器性能研究

        摘 要:大亞灣中微子實驗是一個異地建設(shè)的實驗,中心探測器和反符合探測器的運行和維護(hù)要采取現(xiàn)場值班監(jiān)控、遠(yuǎn)程網(wǎng)絡(luò)檢查相結(jié)合的辦法,oncall人員要及時跟蹤關(guān)鍵監(jiān)測數(shù)據(jù),準(zhǔn)備各種配件、部件、儀器和設(shè)備,以備有問題時及時更換。大亞灣實驗探測器由兩部分構(gòu)成:一是探測反應(yīng)堆反電子中微子的中微子探測器,即“中心探測器”;二是探測宇宙線本底的μ子探測器,即“反符合系統(tǒng)”。反符合系統(tǒng)包括兩個獨立的探測器:阻性板探測器(RPC)和水切倫科夫探測器,可以相互檢驗并聯(lián)合確定μ 子探測效率。水切倫科夫探測器選擇純凈水作為介質(zhì),在探測宇宙線μ子的同時作為屏蔽介質(zhì),中心探測器置于其中。對于遠(yuǎn)點有四個中心探測器模塊,對于兩個近點有兩個中心探測器模塊。阻性板探測器(RPC)放置于水切侖科夫探測器上方,由多個模塊交疊鋪放以放置探測死區(qū),每個模塊內(nèi)有4層阻性板探測器。探測器的優(yōu)異性能是高水平物理研究的基礎(chǔ)。為保證高質(zhì)量的數(shù)據(jù),需要長期運行和維護(hù)探測器,理解探測器響應(yīng),通過數(shù)據(jù)分析研究并提升探測器性能。關(guān)于探測器性能的研究,我們將采取實驗獲取數(shù)據(jù)、刻度數(shù)據(jù)和計算機模擬相結(jié)合進(jìn)行分析的方法。大亞灣的探測器從時間上要運行5~10年,從空間上包括3個廳的多個探測器,所以,我們也將從時間和空間上進(jìn)行比對研究。關(guān)于液閃的研究,我們將把研究對象分為兩類進(jìn)行不同研究:一是已經(jīng)安裝入探測器的液閃,這個我們要跟蹤分析其性能的變化;二是安裝探測器后剩余的液閃和小模型試驗的液閃,我們可以進(jìn)行獨立的物理化學(xué)性能研究。

        Abstract:Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment is a remote built experiment, so the operation and maintenance of its center detector and coincidence detector need to take the combination of field monitoring, remote network examination on duty, and the oncall personnel have to track the monitoring data in time, prepare all kinds of accessories, components, instruments and equipment to replace timely in case some problems occur. Daya bay detector consists of two parts, one is the detectors to detect the electron neutrino of reactor neutrino, namely "the center detector"; the other one is the detectors of cosmic ray muon background, namely "anticoincidence system". Anticoincidence system consists of two separate detector: impedance plate detector (RPC) and water cerenkov detector, which can check with each other and jointly determine the muon detection efficiency. Pure water is as the medium of water Cerenkov detector, is also as shielding medium in the detection of cosmic ray muonsm, and the center detector is in it. There is four center detector modules to the far point and two to close point. Impedance plate detector (RPC) is placed above the water Cerenkov detector, and multiple modules which each module contains 4 layer resistance plate detector are overlapped in place of the dead detect zone. The excellent properties of the detector are the foundation of the high level of physical research. In order to guarantee the high quality of the data, long-term operation and maintenance of the detector, ideal detector response, data analysis study and improvement of the detector performance are needed. For the research on detector performance, we will analysis the data include the experimental, calibration and computer simulation. Also we will compare research on space and time because the Daya bay detector is from 5 to 10 years to run on time, and includes three hall of multiple detectors on the space. On the research of liquid scintillator, we will put the research object divided into two categories to different studies, one is the liquid scintillator which is installed into the detector and we need to track and analyze the change of its performance; the other one is liquid scintillator which is the rest after the install of detector and small model test of liquid scintillator, this is we can make the physical and chemical properties of independent research.
