What lovely flowers!可愛的花

Last month，Aunt Doris visited us.She gave my mum a beautiful plant for her birthday.It had lots of little pink flowers on it and she liked it very much.

However，my mum isn’t good at looking after plants.She didn’t give it any water and left it in a dark room.In a few days，it died.The next day，Aunt Doris called.She asked how the plant was doing.Mum didn’t want to tell her what happened，so she told her it was doing well！Aunt Doris said，“Great！I can see it myself because I’m going to visit you again on Sunday！”

My mum had a problem because she didn’t want to upset Aunt Doris.She decided to find a new plant at once.It had to look just like the old one.We all went into town and looked in every flower shop there.After a long time，we finally found one with pink flowers like the one Aunt Doris bought for my mum.

When Aunt Doris arrived，we were worried that she would notice，but she just smiled and said，“Oh，what lovely flowers！”

上個(gè)月，多莉絲阿姨到我家里做客。媽媽的生日時(shí)她送了一盆開了許多漂亮的粉紅色的小花朵的植物，她看起來非常喜歡它。

不過，我的媽媽不是太善于照顧植物。她沒有給它澆水，并把它放在一個(gè)黑暗的房間里。過了幾天，它就死了。第二天，多莉絲阿姨來電話了。她問這個(gè)植物生長得怎么樣了。媽媽不想告訴她發(fā)生了什么事，于是就告訴她植物生長得非常好，多莉絲阿姨說：“太好了！我這個(gè)周日去你們家，我就能看到花了。”

媽媽煩惱了，因?yàn)樗幌胱尪嗬蚪z阿姨生氣。她立刻決定找一朵看起來就像原來那盆一樣的花。我們?nèi)チ顺抢?，找遍了那里的每一個(gè)花店?；撕荛L時(shí)間，我們終于找到了一盆和多莉絲阿姨送給媽媽的很像的花，開著粉紅色的小花。

多莉絲阿姨來的時(shí)候，我們擔(dān)心她會(huì)覺察到，但她只是微笑著說：“哦，多可愛的花??！”
