The CPC in Dialogue with the World 2016 Theme： “Innovation of Global Economic Governance： The Party's Governing Philosophy and Actions”

In a time when human beings are in a community of common destiny and shared interests， the construction and reform of the global economic governance system is in close relation to the benefi t of all economic bodies and the well-being of the people's livelihood of the globe. Therefore， it has been a common task for all the countries， regions and organizations， which requires us to hear all people's voice and the wisdom that can gather people from all corners of the world. The 2016 G20 Summit in Hangzhou is a great success and a great progress for global economic governance， addressing critical issues facing the world economy， promoting the shift from “crisis response” to “l(fā)ong-term governance mechanism”， and directing world economic growth and international economic cooperation. Yet， there is tough work ahead and we have a long way to go.

As a basic organization of the political affairs for most countries in the world， a party is representative of the benefi ts and claims of different groups. Therefore， it exerts great infl uence on a country's domestic and foreign policies and bears great responsibility for the common destiny of human beings. Faced up with the fl owing torrents of economic globalization and the urgent demand for global economic governance， a party should surpass the political limits of concrete fi elds and regional cooperation， and put forward innovative governing philosophies and ideas for global economic governance with a responsible attitude for the common interests and destiny of human beings. It should have wide dialogues with think-tanks， the media and non-government organizations to gather opinions from the people， reach a consensus with different people， and thus play a guiding role in the reform of global economic governance. In addition， it should take actions to promote highly efficient cooperation between governments and set up a fair， suitable and effi cient global economic governance system so as to make practical contributions. As the ruling party of China and an important member in the family of world parties，the CPC hopes to express the expectations of 1.3 billion Chinese people for world economic growth and for the construction and reform of global economic governance system. The CPC is willing and always ready to exchange ideas， share experience and wisdom， and meet challenges together with parties from all the other countries or regions for the peace and prosperity of the people.

Centering on the theme of “Innovation of Global Economic Governance： The Party's Governing Philosophy and Actions”，“The CPC in Dialogue with the World 2016” will invite G20 state leaders， party leaders， statesmen， think-tank members， scholars and representatives from the industrial and business circles to discuss ideas， mechanisms， practice and innovation of global economic governance. We will learn from the wisdom of different countries and parties， and work together to contribute to a better and more reasonable international economic order.
