故事簡介

Holden Caufield is this 16-year-old kid who flunks out1） of school， right before Christmas vacation. He is not a good student and he has a lot of problems at other schools. He leaves school early and goes to New York City. So then he's in NYC， and he spends time with a bunch of different people. Then he goes back home and sneaks into his house to see his younger sister， Phoebe. She's mad because he failed at school. Then Holden has a nervous breakdown and seeks help from his family. It's up for debate where he winds up—it's suggested that he tells the story from a hospital in Hollywood.

在跟霍爾頓同樣的年紀(jì)時讀了這本書，不喜歡他永遠(yuǎn)玩世不恭、滿嘴臟話的樣子，對他看不慣一切的態(tài)度嗤之以鼻，對他的自甘墮落也百般瞧不上。不可思議的是，這些都沒有讓我放棄這本書，我反而像上了癮一樣每天挑燈夜讀，也許這就是文字的力量。其實那時的我并沒有完全讀懂這部小說，只是在心里為霍爾頓這個獨特的問題少年留下了一個小角落。幾年之后，當(dāng)我再次翻開它，慢慢地，我看到了霍爾頓憤怒與倦怠的外表下那顆敏感而柔軟的心，讀懂了他身上的“壞孩子”標(biāo)簽所掩蓋的善良與真誠，也明白了他對成人世界里虛偽與自私的失望與逃避。也許，我們每個人心里都有一個霍爾頓，因為他喚起了我們內(nèi)心深處對正在流逝的青春的復(fù)雜情感，因為我們都跟霍爾頓一樣——拒絕長大。
