Q1: What special attention should be paid when serving Japanese passengers?

Quan: Most importantly, be detailed-oriented and keep smiling. In Japan, the service industry is extremely advanced, which raises the bar for us in terms of our quality of service and professionalism. It is also important to provide services in the local language. There's a crew of Japanese fl ight attendants, and China Southern's service hotline “95539” can also provide Japanese language services.

A: Public transport is highly developed and eff i cient . Travellers can select among plane, Shinkansen, JR, and tourist buses to get around. There's also a way of transport very popular among young travellers, the Night Bus, which allows visitors to save time and money by departing during the evening and arriving in the morning.
