CHINA SOUTHERN MOVES TO TERMINAL 2 IN ZHENGZHOU

On 30th March, 2016, all China Southern Airlines fl ights operating from Zhengzhou Airport moved to Terminal 2 where China Southern's service area will be tripled. China Southern currently runs 53 fl ights out of Zhengzhou, the capital city of Henan Province. Around 160 China Southern planes take off every day from Zhengzhou, heading to nine international destinations to cities including Osaka, Tokyo, Seoul, Bangkok and some more.

CHINA SOUTHERN EXTENDS TO MORE OF USA

南航攜手維珍美國擴(kuò)大美國覆蓋

The cooperation between China Southern and Virgin America has been made stronger with the two airlines expanding their codeshare fl ights to Denver and Honolulu. Previously the two airlines codeshared on 27 domestic fl ights in the USA, to cities such as Orlando, Washington, Las Vegas, Miami, among others. The new cooperation means China Southern passengers can transfer to more American cities with ease.

GUANGZHOU- KATHMANDU FLIGHT RESUMES IN APRIL

Affected by the shortage of fuel supply, China Southern was forced to cancel the Guangzhou-Kathmandu round service in September 2015. Now as the fuel supply returns to normal in Nepal, and the government promotes tourism by offering a visa-free policy for Chinese tourists, China Southern has resumed its service between Guangzhou and Kathmandu. The service will be operated by an A319 on each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

CHINA SOUTHERN AND AUCKLAND AIRPORT SIGNED MOU

南航與奧克蘭機(jī)場簽署合作備忘錄

On 11th April, China Southern and Auckland Airport signed a Momorandum of Understanding, to build a long-term partnership in fi elds such as e-commerce and tourism. The two sides will be dedicated to building a brand of “Sunny Holiday” as part of China Southern's online holiday products to New Zealand. At the moment, China Southern operates two fl ights to Auckland and Christchurch in New Zealand from Guangzhou.

CHINA SOUTHERN WON 4TH PLACE IN WORLD MAINTENANCE CONTEST

南航在國際維修大賽獲第四名

The 9th international aircraft maintenance skills contest was held in Dallas in April. As the only team from the Chinese mainland, China Southern fi nally won fourth place. A total of 51 teams from around the world attended the contest including the world's top airlines.

PREMIUM SEATS RESERVATION PRICE LOWERED

The price of reserving the best economy class seats on long-haul international routes has been lowered from the previous RMB890 to 600. Premium seats are seats at the front of Economy Class, which allow 40% more leg space than other economy seats. Premium seats have been made affordable for all passengers now.
