摘 要：該研究在數(shù)字媒體理解算法驗證平臺、智能視頻監(jiān)控應(yīng)用示范和網(wǎng)絡(luò)互動電視搜索應(yīng)用示范等方面已取得成果，并在相關(guān)核心技術(shù)領(lǐng)域取得突破。在數(shù)字媒體理解算法驗證平臺方面，該研究采集了超過2 000 h的影視視頻數(shù)據(jù)，主要為影視播出節(jié)目內(nèi)容，累計多媒體數(shù)據(jù)已經(jīng)超過20TB，為算法驗證平臺提供了充足的數(shù)據(jù)支持。該研究的團(tuán)隊還積極參與組織了國際算法評測活動，并發(fā)揮了重要作用。在智能視頻監(jiān)控應(yīng)用示范方面，針對實際應(yīng)用場景，該研究深入研究了單攝像機(jī)條件下車輛的檢測與跟蹤、多攝像機(jī)條件下融合、跨攝像機(jī)條件下對齊算法和時空聯(lián)合特征提取等算法有效地提升了監(jiān)控系統(tǒng)的性能。 在網(wǎng)絡(luò)互動電視應(yīng)用示范方面，該研究成果已在東方有線后臺試運營，并在與中國電信IPTV進(jìn)行了視頻搜索后臺合作研發(fā)，預(yù)計明年初進(jìn)入實際部署階段。

Abstract：We made fruitful progresses in the Digital Media Understanding Algorithm Evaluation Platform，Intelligent Surveillance Video Analysis System and Interactive IPTV Search System， with breakthroughs in key technologies that are related to these areas. Our team managed to publish 9 important papers， including 4 on top artificial intelligence conference International Joint Conferences on Artificial Intelligence （IJCAI）， 1 on another top artificial intelligence conference Twenty-Seventh Conference on Artificial Intelligence （AAAI） and 1 on IEEE Transactions on Multimedia. These outstanding results build a solid ground for the following research work. In the Digital Media Understanding Algorithm Evaluation Platform part， we collected over 2000 hours of video data， making the total amount over 20TB. These data greatly supported our research work. We also participated in organizing several International Algorithm Evaluation Contests， which gained the project a wide-spread reputation. In Intelligent Surveillance Video Analysis System， we studied several topics to improve robustness of the system， including Vehicle Detection and Tracking under Single Camera， Video Fusion and Registration under Multi-Cameras and Spatial-Temporal Feature Extraction algorithms. In Interactive IPTV Search System， our research results are implemented in the backend of Oriental Cable Network （OCN）， the Cable TV Service Provider in Shanghai. We are also developing search servers for IPTV systems of China Telecom， which will be brought online early next year as planned.
