馬來西亞蘭卡威島，仿佛造物主隨意拋灑在人間的綠寶石，恬靜淡泊。也因如此，成為“兵家必爭之地”：一座座休閑度假村爭奇斗艷地綻放，將島嶼妝點成遁世桃源。而如何在“亂花漸欲迷人眼”中獨樹一幟，著實讓蘭卡威瑞吉酒店建筑設(shè)計方美國Gensler事務所和室內(nèi)設(shè)計方英國GA Design費思量。首先，外觀上自然要氣勢如虹，不與傳統(tǒng)休閑度假村為伍，“自立門戶”；其次，塑造休閑氛圍“不忘本”的同時，竭力借助清新、輕盈的內(nèi)飾與闊達的開放空間，勾勒出迷人風骨，不禁讓人咀嚼出幾分歐洲里維埃拉的味道。

Langkawi， Malaysia， looks like an emerald left in this earthly world by the creator， tranquil and secluded.

Therefore， competition is fierce here. Leisure resorts bloom， making the islands a different world from the hustle and bustle of cities.The Client’s vision was for a grand Mansion house that offered a unique alternative to the more traditional laid back resorts that can be found on the island. Although a relaxed environment was still key， the focus was on a more glamorous setting reminiscent of the European Rivieras with fresh and light interiors and grand open spaces.

好“色”有度

Well-applied Colours

公共區(qū)域采用雙高體積造“泰山壓頂”之勢，不由人不wow聲連連，但本區(qū)域其他線條卻精致輕巧，剛?cè)岵?，“方得治道”。大理石、彩繪鑲板及青銅主色等豐富元素烘襯出豐裕有余的室內(nèi)設(shè)計空間。室內(nèi)整體配色方案自然要“就地取材”，從環(huán)繞度假村的海洋及島嶼植被中斬獲靈感。大堂吧的地毯及配飾依附海洋藍和金絲雀黃“招搖過市”，其他各處也不甘落后，紛紛出手，上足了昂揚又輕巧的顏色。

大部分客房內(nèi)的床都面朝大海，用意顯而易見：當目光鎖定窗外水色時，一剎那，仿佛那波光里的艷影，就蕩漾在心頭。坐墊的華麗面料以航海藍和熱帶花卉色著色。精美細致的蠟染地毯以蘭卡威島嶼傳統(tǒng)純手工裝飾并雕刻，仿佛一縷縷海風輕拂，沁人心脾。客房內(nèi)部“面孔”略有差異，較正式且莊重的房間好比“大門不出，二門不入”的大家閨秀，端端正正守在主大廈內(nèi)。而稍顯輕巧的房間則率性得多，要么擁住瀉湖區(qū)，要么立于海面上。不論哪種房型，“肩寬體闊”的戶外露臺都是標配，得以在此左擁右抱周遭美色，一派逍遙！

Where possible we have employed double-height volumes in the Public Areas to give that \"wow\" factor whilst keeping other lines refined and simple. Opulent interiors have been created through the use of rich finishes such as marbles， painted panelling bronze accents. The overall interiors are fresh and light with colour schemes that have been influenced by the sea and the island vegetation that surrounds the resort with punches of ocean blue and canary yellow adorning the cushions and accessories in the Lobby Lounge.

Inside the majority of the guestrooms the beds are orientated towards the sea helping to focus the guest's attention on the proximity of the water and again the scheme of nautical blues and tropical flower hues can be found in the beautiful fabrics chosen for the cushions. Beautifully detailed rugs influenced by Batik have been hand-tufted and hand-carved in the styling of the island's traditional craft. Within the guestrooms， a slight difference in styling is offered， with more formal and grand rooms located inside the main Mansion building and more relaxed rooms outside located in the lagoon areas and above the sea， all with extensive external balconies so guests can make the most of their beautiful surroundings.

活力“大宅”

Energetic Mansion

橘園特色餐廳延續(xù)“闊氣大宅”范兒，一擺一設(shè)融入橘園作風，以此模糊了室外和室內(nèi)的界限。雖則身處建筑風格中規(guī)中矩、一板一眼的酒店主樓地盤兒，但它卻不盲目效仿而能自辟蹊經(jīng)，型格十足。這里，設(shè)計師“故技重施”，刻畫出高大空間和大幅面積，好讓如涓涓細流的愜意優(yōu)雅有足夠空間恣肆流淌。屋頂異乎尋常地高，襯得清淺新鮮的凃面兒格外搶眼，也恍惚使人覺得這“大宅”精致宏偉得不真實，仿佛蒙著一層戲劇性的外罩兒。簡單涂裝的大背景，搭配深色系亞洲風格的家俬，卻誰也不冷落誰，和諧一體。大膽不懼的主色將活力注入餐廳，催生出滿滿的正能量。展示廚房的烤爐上方，一幅馬賽克鑲嵌作品以其強大的魔性氣場，使觀者無不駐足，目中無旁，內(nèi)心波瀾難抑。

橘園特色餐廳旁伴有德利餐廳，這兒少了幾分儀式感，不那么拘謹。可以選幾樣食品堂食，或端到景觀露臺在瑩潤水景呢喃聲中飽餐。這兒還有五花八門的工匠藝術(shù)品，件件讓人愛不釋手；挑選一件，大大方方地體驗一把這里的定制禮品包裝服務，果然，“人靠衣裝”——精巧包裝后的藝術(shù)品人見人愛，是回到別墅兀自把玩一番視作珍寶，還是贈與他人，完全考驗出“忍痛割愛”的分量了。

Continuing with the Mansion House style an Orangery inspired setting was incorporated into the concept for the L'Orangerie Signature Restaurant to allow for the exterior to blur with the interior volumes within the more formal architectural footprint of the hotel's main building. Once again high volumes and large areas feature to allow an easy elegant flow through the spaces whilst light， fresh painted finishes are enhanced by oversized roof heights providing a dramatic sense of refined grandeur. The backdrop of simple architectural finishes is enhanced by dark contrasting Asian style furniture whilst bold accent colours bring energy to the room. Above the oven in the display kitchen， a stunning feature mosaic provides an intricate focal point and brings a touch of glamour to the space.

The Deli， situated next to the L'Orangerie Signature Restaurant is a unique offering that provides guests with an informal place to select food to eat within the restaurant or out on the landscaped terrace overlooking the water feature. It also acts as an immersive retail space where guests can find artisan items and a bespoke gift-wrap service in order to then enjoy their treats in their villas or take them home as gifts..

室內(nèi)“叢林”

In-house Jungle

酒吧向來不走尋常路，蘭卡威瑞吉酒店酒吧未能免俗。明顯有別于酒店其他各處，瑞吉酒吧深受戶外叢林景致所左右，呈現(xiàn)出層次豐富、狂放不拘的氛圍。深色木料的天花及墻壁、硅化木桌子、火山石墻板和軟裝飾無不師法室外豐茂綠植色彩，似乎整座島嶼都在室內(nèi)活色生香起來。頭頂上方，三米寬的翡翠綠瑪瑙水晶枝形吊燈艷驚四座，其他所有深色調(diào)裝飾霎時黯然失色，唯有天花中央一抹光華顧盼生輝。

籠罩在煙灰色里，任枝形吊燈光華盈滿一身，從高聳至天花的酒柜中信手拈一瓶上好佳釀，淺斟慢酌，唇間好似春暖花開意正濃。這里是從瑞吉酒吧延伸出來的香檳酒吧，專屬私人活動舉辦空間。高檔食品盛于古典大理石制成的高挑展示器皿中，擺放在中央大桌上，極大豐潤了香檳酒吧空間層次，也使之趣意盎然起來。

The St Regis Bar in contrast to the rest of the hotel offers the guests a richer and sultrier atmosphere and was heavily influenced by the views into the jungle outside. Dark timbers to the ceiling and walls， petrified wood tables， volcanic stone wall panels and soft furnishings that echo the colours of the vegetation outside help bring the island into the hotel. Overhead a striking three metre wide chandelier of emerald green agate crystal acts as a lavish centrepiece and brings a pop of colour to the darker palette.

Extending out of the bar and acting as an exclusive space for private events， sits the Champagne bar with its palette of smoky greys， sparkling chandeliers and floor to ceiling wine cabinets. The luxury food items are displayed on a large central table in classical marble and tall display units that give a sense of layering and add interest to the space..

時尚“水鄉(xiāng)”

Sleek Waterland

SPA設(shè)計“特立獨行”，不類酒店別處空間，設(shè)計偏重當代性，在紋理上頗費筆墨，著力以情緒灰色調(diào)裝扮硬飾面。SPA整體造型時髦不俗，每一隅都涌動著明晃晃的自然光線，水波光影共舞，迷離幻化。 理療室窗戶淌滿瀑布樣的水線，自是舒緩心神。內(nèi)置中央水庭院穩(wěn)穩(wěn)當當端坐在高大的天窗下，虎虎生威。一道天然有機波浪紋屏風將男女空間分隔，不溫不火地就將各自的私密性保護得妥妥帖帖。

For the spa the intention was to have a unique styling that was different to the rest of the spaces and so the design is much more contemporary with a focus on textures and a palette of moody greys chosen for the hard finishes. The sleek styling of the Spa provides guests and other visitors alike， a destination venue that is flooded with natural light. There are soothing water cascades on the windows of the treatment rooms， and a stunning internal central water court that sits beneath a large skylight. An organic undulating screen separates the male and female circulation spaces.

“體驗感”至關(guān)重要，自始至終是指點蘭卡威瑞吉酒店設(shè)計的“風向標”。從令人噤聲的肅穆入口，一路去至隨性不羈的海洋別墅，邊走邊看，布局和室內(nèi)設(shè)計逐漸摘下“不茍言笑”的面具，眉目舒展開來，輸送出“古典又當代”的審美情趣，終至出得酒店，但見瀉湖一片好風光。

The \"journey\" of the guest is very important and influenced our design throughout. The aim was to take guests on a journey of relaxation beginning at the impressive arrival through to the less formal sea villas with the layouts and interiors becoming more relaxed and channelling a \"classical contemporary\" aesthetic as the guests moved through the hotel towards the lagoon area.
