一、教學目標

1.知識與能力。

A.學生能聽、說、認、讀本節(jié)課的詞匯：tomato，potato，carrot，green beans，掌握形、音、義，單復數(shù)形式。了解onion這個單詞。

B.能應用目標句型： Look at the... They are...，并描述所學蔬菜的特征。

2.過程與方法。

學生能在語境中正確運用詞匯并描述特點。能完成課堂任務，在活動中結合lets talk內(nèi)容，綜合使用目標詞匯。

3.情感態(tài)度價值觀。

A.學生能了解本節(jié)課蔬菜的特點，知道多吃蔬菜有益健康，樂意嘗試不同的蔬菜。

B.能在活動中體驗與同學合作的樂趣，通過完成學習任務體驗學習英語的快樂。

二、教學重難點

重點：學生能在語境中掌握目標詞匯的音、形、義，注意詞匯的單復數(shù)形式區(qū)別，特別是tomato，potato和green beans。

難點：能在雙人和小組活動中綜合地使用目標詞匯和句型，描述所學蔬菜的特點。

四、教學流程

Step1 Warm-up

1. Lets sing： “ Hello！ Hello！”

（設計思路：通過集體合唱歌曲，師生相互問好，活躍課堂氣氛，使學生快速進入英語學習。）

2. Lets free talk

Sample：

A： Look at these. Are they…？

B： Yes， they are. / No， they arent.

A： What are these？

B： They are …

（設計思路：學生觀察教學掛圖1中的農(nóng)場，小組談論圖中內(nèi)容，應用已掌握句型：Look at these. Are they…？ What are these？復習 Lets talk的會話，鞏固句型中關于復數(shù)形式的理解與應用；同時，在語境中使用tomatoes和carrots這兩個新詞匯，為新課的學習做好準備。）

Step2 Presentation

（目標：學習tomato& tomatoes，potato& potatoes，carrot& carrots，和green beans這四組目標詞匯，掌握音、形、義，理解其單復數(shù)形式的應用。了解onion這個單詞。）

A： tomato& tomatoes

1. A riddle for tomato

“It is red and round. It is yummy. It looks like an apple， but it isnt an apple. What is it？”

（設計思路：以猜謎的方式引入tomato這個詞匯，謎語用學生熟悉的單詞準確描述了tomato的特別，學生開動腦筋，理解這種蔬菜的特點，增添學習的趣味性；同時為之后關于蔬菜描述的學習提供了示例和知識準備，鋪墊之后的練習。）

2. Ask and answer

T： Whats this？

Ss：Its a tomato. Its red， round and yummy.

T： What are these？

Ss：They are tomatoes. They are so yummy.

（設計思路：師生互動，呈現(xiàn)圖片，用問答的方式操練tomato和tomatoes，注意單復數(shù)的應用，并對其進行簡單描述，掌握描述詞：yummy，為之后的chant做準備；同時鞏固lets talk的會話內(nèi)容，在情境中使用詞匯。）

3. Small chant

“Tomatoes， tomatoes， I like tomatoes.”

（設計思路：根據(jù)tomato的學習，利用small chant的形式和節(jié)奏說唱，學生能鞏固詞匯，表達對tomato的熱愛，為之后學習Lets chant做好鋪墊。）

（用相同的模式學習potato& potatoes，引導學生區(qū)別在詞、音上相近的單詞tomato& potato，強調(diào)在原詞形后加“es”。之后學習carrot & carrots，green beans。）

B：onion

2. Small chant

“Onions， onions， but onions make me cry.”

（設計意圖：向?qū)W生展示一個切開的onion，讓學生真實地感受Onions make me cry。提示學生注意an onion的表達方式。）

Step3 Practice

1. I can say

（設計思路： 學生看圖快速說出所學詞匯，并區(qū)別單復數(shù)詞形，檢驗學生是否掌握詞匯語法意義，突破本節(jié)課難點。）

2. Read & PracticeListen，read & Show

（設計思路：利用多媒體，通過音頻、視頻，學生認真聽錄音，正確跟讀，注意語音語調(diào)，學習課本所呈現(xiàn)知識；引導學生雙人練習學會如何描述所學蔬菜。）
