This time to Mexico, we dont visit the famous cities like Cancun and Merida. God must have preferred to Mexico. Whoever walking on the any street of any city, he can clearly perceive Mexican thick civilization and unique scenery. The gorgeous sea in Acapulco and charming Hollywood make people feel like returning to the golden age of the movie. Sleeping Civilization under the secret is still bright in Mexico City. Silver mine in Taxco has almost disappeared, but the legend and the process never ends. I think this time I meet the most gorgeous blossom in Mexico.
Love of the Old Time in Acapulco
Acapulcos long coastline and harmonious ecological system mark the status of its vacation paradise. When it comes to Acapulco, perhaps people may think of “danger” and “violence"” and other harsh words quickly, but ignore the beauty. She even has no chance to appeal. Is the reality really that bad? In fact, Acapulco is wrongly unjustified, like many cities in Latin America are. The violence and theft occur occasionally, but the city police and plainclothes are scattered in the streets and squares, such as corner to protect people. Traveling must be with cautious, but you dont have to see this beautiful city as a scourge.
On our way to the hotel, guide on the car passionately tell the guests from all over the world the success and glory especially the famous hotels all along the way. He is familiar with the hotels history and the background of the owners. Banyan Tree Hotels& Resorts lies in excellent geographical location. Not far from our hotel, there is a beautiful golf field. The players can enjoy the golf pleasure out of the hotel. It is worth mentioning that if you remain skeptical about Acapulcos public security, I suggest you reserving Fairmont or Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts and other five-star hotels whose facilities are perfect with superior position and more secure system.
1、Fun by Sea
Acapulco has clear blue sea water with stretches of beaches, in addition to the steep cliffs and rocks. There are many entertainment projects. The beaches near the cape and Potomac beach are the cleanest. If you feel hesitate to swim in the sea in the misty, you can consider to take a paraglide to view picturesque bays. You can also attend fishing swordfish and sword fish fishing contests. If you love sports, playing tennis or going to any golf course of the Acapulcos six can be a good choice.
In the west of Acapulco Bay, there is a world famous diving cliff named Lablab. “U” character is about 4 meters wide between the two cliffs. Wind here is strong and the terrain is rather rugged. The huge waves hit the walls to rumble the thunder. The professional trained local boys, opening the arms jump from ten-meter cliff to the water, which is very exciting.
Beside sea, there is a main coastal road, along which you can go through the old houses and shops. Along the road to moving on, you can reach the Gulf Beaches and Calityra Beach, bypassing some simple restaurants and water equipment consist of the coarse sand. “Magical Marine world Theme Park” separates the two beaches. Starting from the Gulf Beach, it takes only 10 minutes by boat to the mountainous Overlooking Island, where you can take a glass- bottom boat tour around the island, and go to the island in a small zoo to see lazy animals there. In a cool day, you can also climb to the lighthouse on the island to see the bay scenery.
2、Fresh and Delicious
Acapulco believes and follows the saying “By the sea, live on the Sea”. Thanks to abundant marine resources, Acapulco people are also good at making products. If you like tasting food, go to the seaside. In the seaside restaurant around the gulf, shrimp, swordfish and swordfish are the main course dishes. If you have a chance to come here, make sure to order an Acapulco ceviche which is fresh but not obliged.
Most distinctive food is called “Ceviche”. The ingredients include small cut pieces of fish, shrimp and octopus or chopped onion, tomato, parsley, green pepper, tomato sauce and lemon juice. It tastes sweet, sour, and spicy. There is another kind of soup called Pozole, with boiled corn and pork. You can add some fresh shredded radish, green onion, dried chili sauce, lemon juice and so on. Still there is a lot of seafood that is surely worth a try, such as shrimp curry rice with light curry taste, dry but plumped rice, and buried shellfish and other seafood in it. Grilled fish is also delicious. Brush a layer of sauce after coated. There remains the original flavor. Not only seafood, Acapulco also has exquisite and delicious fruits and vegetables. Acapulco with mild climate has a variety of flower blooming all the year round. Mango, papaya, watermelon and other fruits grow throughout the year. Local people have distinguished features in eating fruits. Tourists like to eat fruits directly or squeezed into juice, while the local people prefer to squeeze some lemon juice or little pepper on it to make Mexico style of fruit salad. Although Acapulco is a coastal city, corn products and cactus ingredients are still common in each restaurant. TACO has the charm everywhere.
Mexico City Crossroads of the Past and the Future
It is difficult to pin down Latin Americas biggest city: one of those rare places in the world where different civilizations lie stacked on top of each other like a giant layer cake. In this vast metropolis of over 17 million, tradition and modernity rub shoulders in every lane and square, church and park. Its a city that seems to offer endless things to do and eat, places to see, ways to relax and things to discover, and its almost impossible to escape the feeling that maybe you lived here in another lifetime.
Climbing the ancient pyramids of Teotihuacan or gazing up at the gilded altars of the Metropolitan Cathedral, the largest and oldest cathedral in the Americas, you wonder whether this is your first time here or not. The weathered stones of the City seem to hold memories of your own that are just beyond the minds reach, always just about to be remembered, but left to the imagination.
Teotihuacán:Place of the Gods
Just outside of Mexico City an hours away are the enormous pyramids of Teotihuacán, built by an ancient civilization even older than the Aztecs. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is an ancient city and religious center, perhaps the most important in all of the Ancient Americas.
Living time capsule: the Zócalo
In the heart of Mexico City is the Zócalo, Mexico Citys Tiananmen Square, where the city center remains frozen in the baroque splendor of New Spain. This enormous square seems like a giant time capsule, returning visitors to a time when Mexico City was the Spanish Empires proud capital in the New World.
Stroll down living history: Avenida Madero
Many of the architectural treasures of the City Center can be experienced by walking down the pedestrian street, Avenida Francisco I. Madero (or just “Madero” for short). There are so many things to see like the short 6-block walk from Zócalo to Palacio de Bellas Artes, the national Opera House, which can easily turn into a visit of 2 hours or longer.
The“City of Palaces”, the“ City of Museums”
Mexico City is nicknamed the “City of Palaces”but it might as well also be called the“the City of Museum”, as it has more museums than any other city in the world. This is perhaps unsurprising considering how the Mexican people value their past and preserve their traditions. The two not-to-bemissed museums, without a doubt, are the National Anthropology Museum located in Chapultepec Park, and the Museo del Templo Mayor on the northeast corner of the Zócalo, which sits over what remains of the Aztec capitals most important temple.
Evolving Traditions and Edible Arts
The unique way that Mexico cherishes its past while living in the present goes beyond buildings. Mexican people preserve their historic capital, and build fascinating and detailed museums to document their millennial civilization. Some of the best ways to see the unique way that the past is alive in the present in Mexico is in its pots and pans.
Its hard to know what century – or even millennium – your dish is from here. The first national gastronomy to be named a UNESCO intangible world heritage, Mexican cuisine draws on its the incredible abundance of fresh and varied ingredients, ancient Mesoamerican culinary methods, Spanish cooking and that of more recent immigrants. Rather than do away with the culinary traditions of the indigenous population, Mexican food has evolved fusing together the foods of its changing population– a process which continues today.

(Fun by Sea)
