Cabbage is one of the most familiar vegetables for us. Every winter， it is the major part on the dining table of people in North China. But this time， the most ordinary cabbage is not resigned to lie on the dining table quietly， but want to be the Cinderella in the hall of art.

When a person comes to the world， the innate natural conditions and properties like skin color and race cannot be changed. It is like a common cabbage in Beijing that it shall be yellow white or light green and you shall never find a blue or pink one at the market. How to make an ordinary cabbage be not like a cabbage but in fact it is still a cabbage？

白菜+美女=？

白菜，是人們最熟悉不過的蔬菜之一。每到冬季，大白菜都是北方老百姓餐桌上的主角。而這一次，最最普通的大白菜，不甘心只默默無聞地躺在餐桌上，也要做一回藝術(shù)殿堂里的灰姑娘。

當(dāng)一個(gè)人來到世界上，膚色、種族等等先天的自然條件和屬性已經(jīng)無法改變。就好比一棵長在北京最常見的大白菜，黃白色、淺綠色，你絕不會(huì)在市場上發(fā)現(xiàn)藍(lán)色的或粉色的大白菜。如何讓一棵普通的白菜看似不是一棵菜但其實(shí)還是一棵菜？

青年藝術(shù)家桔多淇通過攝影與藝術(shù)的關(guān)系，把一顆顆普通的大白菜，變成擁有著“天使臉蛋、魔鬼身材的漂亮女孩?！?/p>

桔多淇在網(wǎng)絡(luò)上很紅，網(wǎng)友們對(duì)她贊賞有加，甚至驚嘆她為“神仙姐姐”，那么，就讓我們看看這位神仙姐姐又給我們帶來了一個(gè)怎樣奇妙的藝術(shù)世界吧！

The theme for this exhibition at 798 is the Fantasy of Cabbage， which is the other cabbage photography by Jie Duoqi after the Museum of Cabbage. It is the praise of the ordinary world by her. In “the Fantasy of Cabbage”， ordinary cabbages become sexy and enchanting women that it is a beautiful world that truly belongs to women.

In the fantasy， Jie Duoqi makes ordinary cabbages become sexy and charm. She said， “I did a series trials in boring day and night to change the light green color into red， blue， oil-painting color in light and translucent in water.” She tries to a new way to show vegetables， because the colorful but old ways of food pictures are so boring.

這次我們來到798參加展覽的主題是《白菜的幻想》，是桔多淇繼《蔬菜博物館》之后的另一個(gè)影像作白菜發(fā)現(xiàn)品專題?！栋撞说幕孟搿肥撬龑?duì)平凡世界的贊美，在“白菜的幻想”里有的只是由一棵棵普通白菜化身而成的性感嫵媚的女人，這是一個(gè)真正屬于女性的美麗世界。

在白菜的幻想中，桔多淇一次次讓最最普通的白菜變得魅惑性感，她說：“在百無聊賴的白天和黑夜里做了一系列嘗試，改變白菜的淺綠色，讓它成為紅色、成為藍(lán)色，燈光下的油畫色、放在水里的透明感?！彼噲D找到一個(gè)新的表現(xiàn)蔬菜的方法，因?yàn)槟切┥使怩r卻老套讓人一下就聯(lián)想到的食物畫片早就令人厭倦麻木。

In a year and a half， in her studio there is always a cabbage. From fresh to wither it is pictured into different stories and feeling tones. Kinds of food repeatedly appear in Jie’s works and she gives new lives to them that teht are not chained by fate any more. In the works of the Fantasy of Cabbage， they overthrow the image of normal， cheap， not eye-catching and perishable and become beauties. She expresses the ordinary and extraordinary of vegetables in artistic ways and makes us reconsider the value of vegetables in daily life.

The vegetables Jie uses are in all kinds that some are fresh， some withered， some wizened， some rotted and some are cured， boiled or fried.

在長達(dá)一年半的時(shí)間里，在桔多淇的工作室一直有一棵白菜，從最新鮮到蔫掉她都嘗試拍攝，創(chuàng)作出不同的敘事和情調(diào)。各式各樣的食物反復(fù)出現(xiàn)在桔多淇的作品中，她賦予這些蔬菜水果新的生命，它們不再被自己的命運(yùn)所束縛。在《白菜的幻想》這一系列作品中，白菜們顛覆了它們以往平凡、廉價(jià)、不起眼、易腐壞的形象，搖身成為美女。桔多淇以藝術(shù)的形式表達(dá)著蔬菜的平庸與不凡，她的作品使我們重新審視日常生活中蔬菜的價(jià)值。

桔多淇使用的蔬菜各種各樣，有的新鮮，有的枯萎，有的干癟，有的正在腐爛，有的則經(jīng)過腌制、水煮或者油炸。

It is like Cinderella being charmed to sit on a pumpkin carriage that cabbages are froze into beautiful women in Jie’s camera and get rid of the spell of time. The touching point of this works is that it awakens the dream of ordinary cabbages and helps them realize it. The majority of us is like a cabbage or a potato， but we can move by ourselves.

Maybe in the Fantasy of Cabbage， it just shows the fantasy of cabbage. It wants to be big star with hot figure， disposition， fame and everything a star needs. Or maybe it is just what women want by telling us through cabbages. In fact， instead of saying it is what women want； we can say it is what the society wants. The cabbages in the pictures are just catering the needs of the society.

就像灰姑娘被施了魔法、坐上了南瓜車，大白菜們也在桔多淇的鏡頭里定格成了高顏值女子，并且擺脫了時(shí)鐘的魔咒。桔多淇這組作品的動(dòng)人之處就是喚醒了普通白菜們的夢想，并且?guī)退鼈儗?shí)現(xiàn)了。我們大多數(shù)人普通的就像一棵白菜、一個(gè)土豆，好在我們可以自己行動(dòng)。

《白菜的幻想》展現(xiàn)的或許是白菜“自己的幻想”?；孟胱约壕褪巧聿恼T人的大明星，有明星的氣質(zhì)。明星的名氣和明星們想要的一切。《白菜的幻想》所描繪的或許只是桔多淇假借白菜來述說女人們想要的。究其根源，與其說是女人想要的，毋寧說是這個(gè)社會(huì)需要的。影像中的白菜，只是迎合了這個(gè)社會(huì)的需要而已。
