Liu Tianming was born in the home of peony-Luoyang， and graduated from Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts. Currently he is a member of China Artists Association， the deputy director of Heluo Painting and Calligraphy Academy， the art editor of Chinese Artists， etc. He has devoted himself to the research and creation of peony paintings for more than 40 years and created many excellent masterpieces. Some of his artworks have been collected by famous organizations and collectors.

劉天明，筆名醉石，生于牡丹之鄉(xiāng)洛陽(yáng)古城，畢業(yè)于西安美術(shù)學(xué)院，現(xiàn)定居北京，牡丹齋主人，從事牡丹畫(huà)研究40余年。中國(guó)美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員、國(guó)家二級(jí)美術(shù)師，河洛書(shū)畫(huà)院副院長(zhǎng)，《中國(guó)美術(shù)家》雜志美術(shù)編輯，紫光閣畫(huà)院畫(huà)家。劉天明的畫(huà)作巧妙結(jié)合西方油畫(huà)三維藝術(shù)和中國(guó)畫(huà)獨(dú)有性及水墨藝術(shù)，在牡丹畫(huà)表現(xiàn)手法上突破傳統(tǒng)畫(huà)法，使雍容華貴的牡丹花更厚重、更大氣，表現(xiàn)出牡丹的鋼心勁骨，寫(xiě)出了牡丹真正的神韻和王者風(fēng)范。作品被部分藝術(shù)機(jī)構(gòu)及海內(nèi)外藏家收藏，入編《當(dāng)代中國(guó)書(shū)畫(huà)精品大典》等幾十部書(shū)畫(huà)作品集。
