Fall mornings are beautiful！

One beautiful fall morning in October， I have my alarm set to 5 a.m. For some reason， I wake up earlier than my morning wake-up buzz1）. I prepare my stuff and put on my walking gear2）， and—how can anyone go out for a weekly exercise regimen3） without this essential gadget4）—a music player！

It's 6：30 a.m. It is still dark outside and I decide to hang out in my favorite cafe for a while and grab a nice， hot， freshly-brewed5） coffee. I stay inside the cafe until daylight comes out a bit over the horizon.

It takes about a five-minute walk to reach the nice， irregular-shaped walking trail and the beautifully landscaped park. It is an easy， natural stride along the way， while I enjoy the rest of my coffee and listen to my favorite smooth jazz music at the same time.

At the park， I see the same scene I always do as I enter the gate. Some Chinese nationals perform Tai-Chi exercises， and both young and old and men and women， some of them with their pet dogs， are out walking or jogging6）.

Now， the sun is revealing its beauty as it rises in the east. I have done seven rounds already， and seven times I see the beautiful， colorful flowers of the park； and seven times I step past some of the beautiful fall leaves. Their reddish-orange and dark yellow colors glow like the golden orange hue7） of the rising sun. I pick up seven of them in various sizes and wrap them carefully with a napkin I got from the cafe and put them safely in my purse.

It's 8：00 a.m. The sun is now in full bloom like a flower as it lifts itself in full openness， beautiful， dazzling8）， elegant， simply gorgeous9）！ It is time to go back， and on my way home， I consider how this new day has given me the fresh smell of a fall morning and a lovely， natural fall outdoor scene.

Fall mornings are beautiful， and I give thanks for this beautiful day， the golden sun， the colorful flowers， the people， the trees， the park， the coffee， the fall leaves … everything around me.
