Wang Yuanhai was born in Lanzhou in 1970 and graduated from the College of Fine Arts of Northwest Normal University. Currently he is a librarian of Honggu Culture Centre， a member of Gansu Artists Association， the director of Lanzhou Artists Association， etc. He has participated in various exhibitions and won grand prizes and some of his artworks were published by some famous presses.

王元海，1970年生于蘭州 ，畢業(yè)于西北師大美術(shù)系，現(xiàn)任紅古區(qū)文化館館員。甘肅省美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員，蘭州市美協(xié)理事。多幅作品在省內(nèi)外報(bào)刊發(fā)表并獲獎(jiǎng)。油畫(huà)作品《靜物》參加第四屆全國(guó)群眾書(shū)畫(huà)交流展并獲二等獎(jiǎng)；《走進(jìn)秋天》獲“絲綢之路首屆甘肅書(shū)畫(huà)展”三等獎(jiǎng)；2012年《晌午》獲蘭州市紀(jì)念毛澤東在延安文藝座談會(huì)上的講話70周年畫(huà)展一等獎(jiǎng)。
