Yu Kemin was born in Kunming in 1956. He graduated from People’s Liberation Army Arts College with the major of oil painting and then took advanced study in the graduated students class of Central Academy of Fine Arts. Currently he is a member of China Artists Association， a famous military painter， a committee member of the Chengdu branch of People’s Liberation Army Arts Research Institute and a special-invited professor of Yunnan Arts Academy ， etc. He has participated in various exhibitions at home and abroad and won grand prizes. Some of his artworks have been collected by famous museums and organizations. What’s more， CCTV as well as Yunan Satellite TV reported his feature films.

于克敏，中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員，云南著名軍旅油畫家。1956年生于昆明。先后畢業(yè)于解放軍藝術(shù)學(xué)院美術(shù)系油畫專業(yè)和中央美術(shù)學(xué)院油畫研究生同等學(xué)歷班。系解放軍美術(shù)書法研究院成都軍區(qū)分院藝術(shù)指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)委員，油畫創(chuàng)作員，正師職大校軍銜；云南藝術(shù)學(xué)院美術(shù)學(xué)院長期特聘教授；云南省美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)理事，云南省美協(xié)油畫藝術(shù)委員會(huì)委員，云南油畫學(xué)會(huì)理事。

作品入選1976年以來歷屆全軍美展，第8屆、9屆、12屆全國美展，紀(jì)念建軍60、70、80，85周年全國美展，“首屆中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員油畫精品展”，“第三屆中國油畫展”，“紀(jì)念反法西斯戰(zhàn)爭勝利60周年國際藝術(shù)作品展”，“第五屆西部大地情全國美展”，“慶祝建國60周年云南文藝成就精品展”，“2013年全國油畫展”，2014年“七彩云南”中國美術(shù)作品展 。

榮獲的主要獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)有：“首屆中國美術(shù)家協(xié)會(huì)會(huì)員油畫精品展”最高獎(jiǎng)精品獎(jiǎng)；全軍美展二等獎(jiǎng)、三等獎(jiǎng)、優(yōu)秀作品獎(jiǎng)和“紀(jì)念建軍80周年全國美展”銀獎(jiǎng)；云南省美展二等獎(jiǎng)、三等獎(jiǎng)；云南省第五屆文化精品工程獎(jiǎng)；第四、六屆云南文藝創(chuàng)作基金獎(jiǎng)；成都軍區(qū)美展一等獎(jiǎng)；昆明市美展一等獎(jiǎng)等。

作品被中國美術(shù)館、軍事博物館、中央軍委八一大樓收藏。多件油畫應(yīng)邀至國外參加聯(lián)展，并被官方和民間各界人士收藏。多件作品被編入多部解放軍美術(shù)精品畫冊(cè)。由中央電視臺(tái)、云南電視臺(tái)先后采訪拍攝的專題片《軍旅畫家于克敏》和 《紅土深情》，分別由兩臺(tái)播出?，F(xiàn)在昆明駐滇部隊(duì)國防畫室。
