Hu Ashou was born in Shaoxing，Zhejiang Province in 1952 and began to learn drawing during his spare time after he went to Hangzhou in 1973. Currently， he is a member both of China Society for the Promotion of Cultural and Art Development and Chinese Folk Literature and Art Society. Mr. Hu absorbed the advantages of emboss， added physical perspective to oil paintings and applied China wood oil to it， which avoided the preserved problem of oil paintings.

油畫從500多年前文藝復興達？芬奇的光與影陰透視和色彩對比，創(chuàng)造了世界主流美術(shù)，胡阿壽把油畫與浮雕加以融合，給油畫增加了物理透視，又應用了中國特有的桐油好材料，克服了油畫容易產(chǎn)生裂紋與吸油的缺點，可保存千年。

胡阿壽，紹興湖塘陌塢村農(nóng)民，生于1952年，1973年步行到杭州拜師學藝，勞動之余開始學畫。他先后受到吳山明、陳長庚等名師的指導?，F(xiàn)為中國文化藝術(shù)促進會和中國民間藝術(shù)家協(xié)會會員，聯(lián)合國教科文組織授予的民間美術(shù)家。作品由人民畫報社、中國畫報出版社、海峽文藝出版社出版發(fā)行。
