仁川國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)距離首爾70公路，在交通運(yùn)輸方面的要求很高。我們的設(shè)計(jì)方案在競(jìng)賽中勝出，項(xiàng)目于2002年韓日世界杯前及時(shí)竣工，成為人們使用地面交通前往和離開首爾的出發(fā)站和終點(diǎn)站，同時(shí)它也是世界上最重要、風(fēng)格最鮮明的交通運(yùn)輸大樓之一，也是規(guī)模最大的建筑之一。六層樓高的地面交通中心是一座獨(dú)立建筑，位于兩個(gè)航站樓之間，是機(jī)場(chǎng)最重要的交通樞紐。五個(gè)鐵路系統(tǒng)均位于大樓內(nèi)部，包括城際鐵路、機(jī)場(chǎng)快線和輕軌網(wǎng)絡(luò)，以及公共汽車和長(zhǎng)途客車站、出租車?？奎c(diǎn)和停車場(chǎng)；這些設(shè)施全都戰(zhàn)略性地設(shè)置于建筑內(nèi)，為乘客提供從一種交通模式轉(zhuǎn)換到另一種交通模式的無縫連接。該建筑的設(shè)計(jì)能力為每年接待5000萬名乘客。

仁川國(guó)際機(jī)場(chǎng)是2009年Skytrax全球最佳機(jī)場(chǎng)。

Located 70km from Seoul, Incheon International Airport required a high level transportation solution. This competition-winning proposal, completed in time for the 2002 W orld Cup football forms the arrival and departure point for ground transportation to and from Seoul,and is one of the world’s most important and distinctive transport buildings, as well as one of its largest. A freestanding structure between two passenger terminals, the six-storey GTC is the airports primary transport interchange. It houses f ve rail systems - intercity, airport express and light-rail networks, as well as bus and coach stations, taxi bays and car parks;all strategically positioned to allow the seamless transition from one mode of transport to another. Designed to accommodate 50 million passengers per year.

Incheon International Airport was the winner of the Skytrax Airport of the Year Award 2009
