1.There is a bear in the forest.The bear likes sleeping and eating,but doesn’t like work.森林里住著一只小狗熊。他愛睡懶覺，貪吃，就是不愛干活。

2.One day,he is hungry and steals two corncobs from Aunt Hen’s field. 一天，小狗熊覺得肚子餓了，就跑到雞大嬸的玉米地里，偷了兩個玉米棒。

3.The next day,he feels terrible.Doctor Hippo uses X-rays to examine him.第二天，小狗熊覺得肚子難受。河馬大夫給他做了X光透視。

4.Doctor Hippo says,“A corn seed is coming up in your stomach.You need an operation.”The bear runs away.河馬大夫說：“你的肚子里有一顆玉米正在發(fā)芽。你需要做手術(shù)！”小狗熊嚇跑了。

5.The bear goes back to his home and he is a little afraid.A few days later,two corn leaves come out of the bear’s nose.小狗熊回到家里十分害怕。過了幾天，小狗熊的鼻孔里鉆出兩片玉米葉。

6.The bear goes to the hospital and sees the doctor.Doctor Hippo says,“Work hard,and you’ll be well”.小狗熊來到醫(yī)院看醫(yī)生。河馬大夫說：“你回去好好干活，過一段時間，你就會好了。”

7.He opens up a field and plantspeanuts,corns and beans.He works very hard every day.小狗熊開了一片荒地，種上花生、玉米、黃豆。他每天都勤勞地干活。

8.Autumn comes,the has a good harvest.He is very happy and he gives them to his neighbours and friends.秋天到了，小狗熊豐收了。他很高興，于是，他把這些東西分給鄰居和朋友。

9.But the corn leaves in the nose makes him uncomfortable.Doctor Hippo gives him a white tablet.可是，鼻孔里的玉米葉子讓小狗熊很不舒服。河馬大夫給小狗熊一片白藥片。

10.After he takes the tablet,the bear lets out a loud sneeze.The corn leaves come out of his nose.吃下白藥片，小狗熊打了一個大噴嚏。玉米苗從他的鼻孔里噴了出來。

11.The bear smiles happily and he thanks Doctor Hippo.DoctorHipposays“Thank yourself.”小狗熊開心地笑了，他向河馬大夫道謝。河馬大夫說：“還是謝謝你自己吧。”

12.From then,the bear worksharderand harder.He doesn’tstealanyone else’s things.從這以后，小狗熊越來越勤快，他再也不偷吃人家的東西了。

To enjoy one’s own hard work is a kind of happiness.享受自己的勞動最幸福！
