（一）Olympic Events奧運(yùn)項(xiàng)目

l.Field events fall into two major categories:jumping and throwing.田賽分為跳躍和投擲兩大類。

2.Track events include sprints,middle distance races,long distance races,relays,hurdles,barriers,and marathon.徑賽包括短跑、中跑、長跑、接力跑、跨欄跑、障礙跑以及馬拉松等項(xiàng)目。

3.When was diving accepted as a formal event at the Olympics?跳水是什么時(shí)候成為奧運(yùn)會正式比賽項(xiàng)目的?

A：I think I prefer indoor events.

B：You mean those like gymnastics,weight-lifting and things like that?

A： Yes,I prefer gymnastics to athletics.It’s so beautiful to watch.The gymnasts have so much control and discipline.

B：I know what you mean.I like it,too.And I also like the other indoor sports.I like watching weight-lifting and I also like judo and boxing.

A： I’m not so keen on fighting like judo and boxing,but I don’t mind fencing.

B： Yes,that’s good.It’s really fast and exciting.

（二）Reports of Matches賽事報(bào)道

1.Two of his jumps are declared a foul.他的兩次跳躍都判犯規(guī)。

A：Singh bobs and counter-punches with the left hook.Yet basically he is defending.

B:Look,Singh repeatedly barrages Kim.

A：In turn Kim hits Singh below the belt.

B:The referee has to break them.Kim is penalized a point.

A：The bell is ringing.This round is over.

A：鈴聲響了。穿紅色短褲的是韓國拳手，穿黃色短褲的是印度拳手。

B：他們都是輕量級運(yùn)動員。但是韓國選手金比他的對手辛格重三公斤。金重68公斤而辛格重65公斤。

A：他們正在用直拳試探對方。

B：金更主動些。他用組合拳把對方逼得很緊。

A：辛格低頭躲閃用左勾拳還擊。然而，他基本上處于防守狀態(tài)。

B：看，辛格接二連三地猛擊金。

A：反過來金擊中了辛格腰帶以下部位。

B：裁判不得不把他們分開。金被扣罰一分。

A：鈴響了，這一回合結(jié)束了。
