我們已經(jīng)學(xué)過不少表示身體部位的常用單詞，這些單詞用法非常靈活，不僅可指人的部位，還可以指物體上的某個(gè)部位。

以eye為例：the eye of a needle（針），這里的eye指的是針尾上的小孔，也就是針眼；the eye of a flower，花的眼？不，這里指花蕊。

另外mouth，lip（嘴唇），nose，hand，leg，foot...也都可以如此靈活運(yùn)用。請(qǐng)看the mouth of a river（河口）；the lip of a cup（茶杯沿）；the nose of a car（車頭）。
