在大地的每個角落，彌漫著圣誕前夜的歡樂

公開水域的運動員躍入了大海的懷抱

精心挑選好泳鏡和泳衣

盼望著夏天快快到來

馬拉松游泳運動員在自己的腦海中圖畫著美好夢想

游完了長距離的訓(xùn)練，很快就沉沉睡去，進(jìn)入了夢鄉(xiāng)

小船上的領(lǐng)航員和神情專注的教頭

他們久久地凝視著航海圖，精心地準(zhǔn)備著下一段航程圖

運動員們迫不及待地從海岸躍入身后留下了劈波斬浪的層層水花

此時，大海也收起調(diào)皮的喧鬧，靜靜地迎候著

她知道，這正是運動員最喜歡的風(fēng)平浪靜

時間在繼續(xù)，教練依然站在碼頭

大海里訓(xùn)練的泳者，在深深的冰冷的海灣

時而，運動員顯現(xiàn)的是多么另人震驚的眼神啊

看運動員們奮勇爭先，公開水域的運動員才稱得上是真正的勇士

他們充滿了激情，摩拳擦掌，伸腰展臂

勇敢的個性快樂地生活

運動員一見鐘情的伴侶注定就是大海

他們相愛的速度堪比飛快馳騁的鯊魚

泳者們吹哨，吶喊互相大聲呼喚

從多佛海峽到庫克海峽，從蘇黎世湖到卡塔利娜海峽

在里約，在曼哈頓，在鹿特丹和墨西那

到領(lǐng)獎臺上，到海岸最前沿，盡情的游泳，打腿，更快地飛馳

當(dāng)浪高水冷的時候

認(rèn)真游好每一段，無所畏懼，勇敢拼搏

向所有的喜歡運動的好朋友

獻(xiàn)上在這個年末的深深謝意

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the land People were jumping on the open water band.

Goggles and swimsuits were selected with care,In hopes that summer season soon would be there.

Marathon swimmers with big dreams in their heads,After miles of training, fall fast asleep in their beds.

And pilots with boats and coaches with caps,Had just settled down for a long look at coastal maps,When out over the water there arose such a clatter,Swimmers sprang from the shore to see what was the matter.

Just a boat - but no waves or wind along the coast,It was conditions that swimmers like the most.

The season continues with coaches standing on docks Training swimmers in the oceans and in deep, cold lochs.

When, what to their wondering eyes should appear,But focused swimmers sprinting so dear.

With passion abundant, open water swimmers are ready,To live up to hopes that are courageously heady.

Spouses knew in a moment it must be the ocean,More rapid than sharks in a furious motion.

Swimmers whistled and shouted and called out by name;

"Now, Dover! Now, Cook! Now, Zurich and Catalina!

On Rio! On Manhattan! On Rottnest and Messina!

To the top of the podium, to the frst to the shore,Now swim and kick and sprint all the more!

When the waves are high and the water is cold,Keep true to the course and stay mighty bold.

And to all of you who are the sport’s good friends,Our deep thanks to you as another year ends.
