Florence Nightingale is a lady famous for her nursing in Crimea.She was honored as the Goddess with Lamp.On March 16th,1908,when she was 88 years old,she was awarded the Freedom Prize of London.As the world’s first real nurse,she was a pioneer in nursing.May 12th,International Nurses’Day,is a holiday set up in her honor,for that day is her birthday.

弗洛倫斯·南丁格爾因在克里米亞進(jìn)行護(hù)理而聞名，被譽(yù)為“提燈女神”。1908年3月16日，她在88歲高齡時(shí)被授予“倫敦城自由獎(jiǎng)”。她是世界上第一個(gè)真正的女護(hù)士，開(kāi)創(chuàng)了護(hù)理事業(yè)。“5.12”國(guó)際護(hù)士節(jié)是全世界護(hù)士的共同節(jié)日，就是為了紀(jì)念這位近代護(hù)理的創(chuàng)始人而設(shè)立的，這一天就是弗洛倫斯·南丁格爾的生日。The day May 12this International Nurses’Day.It is a holiday set up in honor of the founder of modern nursing—Florence Nightingale.This holiday was initiated in 1912 to advocate,inherit and promote Nightingale’s spirit of humanitarianism.This spirit consists of being fearless of danger and difficulties,being willing to sacrifice,healing the wounded and rescuing the dying,being brave in dedicating one’s life and so on and so forth.

每年的5月12日是國(guó)際護(hù)士節(jié)，是為紀(jì)念現(xiàn)代護(hù)理學(xué)科的創(chuàng)始人——弗勞倫斯·南丁格爾，于1912年設(shè)立的。設(shè)立國(guó)際護(hù)士節(jié)的基本宗旨是倡導(dǎo)、繼承和弘揚(yáng)南丁格爾不畏艱險(xiǎn)、甘于奉獻(xiàn)、救死扶傷、勇于獻(xiàn)身的人道主義精神等。
