1.A crocodile had a big,powerful tail.When it walked through a wood,the small trees were broken.一條鱷魚有一條非常有威力的大尾巴。當(dāng)它走過樹林的時候,旁邊的小樹都被折斷了。
2.The big crocodile arrived in the city.He saw many white lines on the road,red lights,green lights and yellow lights.The crocodile didn’t know which way he should take.大鱷魚來到了城里。它看到馬路上畫著一道道白線,還有紅燈、綠燈和黃燈。鱷魚不知道該怎么走路了。
3.“Di!”A car whistled to him. This frightened the big crocodile into running aimlessly.“嘀!”一輛汽車向他鳴了一聲喇叭,嚇得鱷魚亂跑起來。
4.His tail swayed to the left side and stroke a car away.The tail swayed to the right side and stroke a lorry away.他的尾巴左一甩,把一輛面包車撞到路邊;右一甩,把一輛大貨車也撞到路邊上。
5.“Bang!”The traffic police box was crushed by the crocodile.A traffic policeman took the big crocodile to the traffic class to learn the traffic rules.“砰!”大鱷魚還把交通崗?fù)ぷ脖饬?。交通警察把大鱷魚帶到交通法規(guī)培訓(xùn)班,學(xué)習(xí)交通規(guī)則。
6.The big crocodile wanted to cut off the tail.A little boy said to him,“Please carry your tail on your back.”And it did so.大鱷魚想把尾巴割掉。一個小男孩對他說:“你把大尾巴背在背上吧!”它照做了。
7.The big crocodile was very happy.He asked the boy to ride on his back and took him to the kindergarten.大鱷魚很高興,它讓這個小男孩騎到背上,送他上幼兒園。
8.The children in the kindergarten also asked the crocodile to take them from and to the school.幼兒園的其它小朋友們也要大鱷魚接送他們上學(xué)。
9.According to the traffic rules,the police fitted a horn on the crocodile’s head.按照交通規(guī)則,警察在大鱷魚的頭上裝了一個喇叭。
10.But when the horn rang,the crocodile felt his head was buzzing and he fell down.The children on his back fell down,too.可是喇叭一響,大鱷魚的腦袋就嗡嗡響,大鱷魚走路就會摔跤,背上的小朋友也掉了下來。
11.A child hung a big bell on his tail tip.After that,every morning the crocodile sent the children to kindergarten.一個小朋友在大鱷魚的尾巴上吊了一個大鈴鐺。從此,每天早上大鱷魚總是準(zhǔn)時送小朋友們上幼兒園。
