Supercomputer Fires Up

The Dawning 5000A，also called the \"Magic Cube，\" is China's first supercomputer with a speed exceeding 100 trillion operations per second. The computer will officially com-mence operations in mid-June. It has a peak speed of 230 trillion operations per second and a sustained capacity of 180 trillion operations per second for the Unpack benchmark.
