一　帆

A little boy invited his mother to attend his elementary schools first teacher-parent conference. To the little boys surprise, mother said she would go. This would be the first time that his classmates and teacher met his mother, he was embarrassed by her appearance. Although she was very beautiful, there was a severe scar that covered nearly the whole right side of her face. The boy never wanted to talk about why or how she got the scar.

有個(gè)小男孩邀請(qǐng)他的媽媽去參加學(xué)校舉辦的第一次家長(zhǎng)會(huì)。令他吃驚的是,媽媽竟然答應(yīng)去。這將是同學(xué)們和老師第一次見(jiàn)到他媽媽,但是媽媽的相貌令他感到難堪。雖然媽媽非常漂亮,但她整個(gè)右臉幾乎被一塊嚴(yán)重的傷疤覆蓋了。小男孩從來(lái)不曾想問(wèn)媽媽這塊傷疤的來(lái)歷。

At the conference, the people were impressed by the kindness and natural beauty of his mother despite the scar, but the little boy was still embarrassed and hid himself from everyone. He did, however, could heard what mother and teacher were talking about.

家長(zhǎng)會(huì)上,小男孩媽媽的善良以及天生麗質(zhì)給人們留下了深刻的印象,盡管她臉上有一塊傷疤。但是,小男孩卻感到難堪,他藏起來(lái)不與人打照面。盡管如此,他還是能聽(tīng)到媽媽和老師談話的內(nèi)容。

“How did you get the scar on your face?”the teacher asked.

“您臉上的傷疤是怎么來(lái)的?”老師問(wèn)道。

The mother replied,“When my son was a baby, he was in a room that caught on fire. Everyone was too afraid to go in because the fire was out of control, but I went in because my son was in his bed. As I was running towards his little bed, I saw a beam coming down and I placed myself over him trying to protect him. I was knocked unconscious. But fortunately, a fireman came in and saved both of us.” She touched the burned side of her face and said ,“This scar will be on my face forever, but to this day, I have never regretted what I did.”There was a smile on her face.

小男孩的媽媽答道:“兒子很小的時(shí)候,他的房間突然著火了。大家都不敢進(jìn)去,因?yàn)榛饎?shì)失控了。但我進(jìn)去了,因?yàn)槲业膬鹤釉谒拇采稀＞驮谖遗芟蛩男〈矔r(shí),我看到一根房梁就要倒下來(lái),我撲到他的床上想護(hù)住他。房梁把我砸暈了。幸運(yùn)的是,一個(gè)消防員沖了進(jìn)來(lái)救了我們?！彼樕系膫陶f(shuō):“這塊傷疤會(huì)永遠(yuǎn)留在我的臉上,但是直到今天,我從沒(méi)為我做的事后悔過(guò)。”她的臉上露著笑容。

When hearing what mother said the little boy came out and running towards his mother with tears in his eyes. He hugged his mother tightly. From then on, the little boy held his mothers hand tightly wherever they go.

聽(tīng)到媽媽說(shuō)的話,小男孩走了出來(lái),滿含熱淚地奔向媽媽,緊緊地?fù)肀е哪且院?小男孩走到哪都緊抓著媽媽的手。
