Auntie Alice told Miffy it was something very magical. Then she carefully placed the little caterpillar near some leaves.

愛麗斯姑姑告訴米菲，她可以每天過來觀察毛毛蟲，喂它吃更多的葉子，這樣，她就會看到很驚喜的事情發(fā)生。米菲喜歡驚喜!

Auntie Alice told Miffy she Coukd come each day to watch the caterpillar and feed it some more leaves， and she would see something very surprising! Miffy loves surprises.

每次米菲來到愛麗斯姑姑家，都會喂更多的葉子給小毛毛蟲吃，但她卻沒有看到任何變化。

Each time Miffy came to Auntie Alice's house， she fed the little caterpillar more leaves， but she didn't see any change at all.

“你一定要有耐心，米菲?！睈埯愃构霉谜f，“驚喜很快就會出現(xiàn)了?！?/p>

\"You must be patient， Miffy!\"said her Auntie Alice，\"The surprise will come.\"

這天，米菲驚訝地大叫起來：“小毛毛蟲被白色的線包住了!”愛麗斯姑姑說：“那是繭，是毛毛蟲自己做的，它就睡在里面。下星期你會看到更大的驚喜?！?/p>

This day， Miffy shouted，\"The caterpillar is all wrapped up in white thread!\"Auntie Alice said，\"That is cocoon. The caterpillar made it. It's sleeping inside! Next week you will see the great; Surprise!\"

米菲太興奮了!第二個星期，她帶著好朋友艾吉一起來看毛毛蟲蛻變。

Miffy was so excited that the next. week， she brought her friend Aggie wish her， to see what in the world the great change would be.

兩只小兔子仔細觀察著，可什么也沒看到。白色的繭躺在那兒一動不動。突然，它開始動了，搖搖晃晃地抖動著。 The two Bunny 8iris watched but nothing happened.The white cocoon just lay there， very still. Then suddenly， it began to move.It quivered.

她們湊過去，好奇地觀察著。白色的繭裂開了，從里面爬出來的不是毛毛蟲，而是另外一種東西!是什么呢?

They leaned closer to watch it. Then the White cocoon split! Out of the COCOOn， there came...NOT a caterpillar， but something else! What was it?

太讓人吃驚了!它真的變了，不再是一條毛毛蟲了。它張開了翅膀，它變成了蝴蝶!這真是太神奇了。

What a surprise! It really had changed! It was not a caterpillar any more! Then... WINGS opened!It was a BUTTERFLY! Something magical did happen!

饑餓的小毛毛蟲已經蛻變成了一只美麗的蝴蝶。蝴蝶拍拍它的翅膀向她們道別，然后飛走了。

A little hungry caterpillar had changed into e beautiful butterfly.The butterfly fluttered its new wings to say goodbye end flew away.
