Unit 5

1.咱們七點鐘去看電影吧。

[誤] Lets go to the movies in seven oclock.

[正] Lets go to the movies at seven oclock.

[析] 表示“在幾點”時，要用介詞at。

2.他們都在看電視。

[誤] They all are watching TV.

[正] They are all watching TV.

[析] all一般用在行為動詞的前面、be動詞以及助動詞的后面。

3.謝謝你幫助了我。

[誤] Thank you for help me.

[正] Thank you for helping me.

[析] thank you for sth./doing sth.意思是“因某事/做了某事感謝你”，接動詞時要跟動詞-ing形式。

4.我在讀書。

[誤] I am reading books.

[正] I am reading.

[析] 泛指“看書、讀書”時，一般不加book，若表示看某本書可以說read a（the） book。

5.我確信她會來。

[誤] Im sure of that she will come.

[正] Im sure that she will come.

[析] be sure“確信”后直接接that從句，不用加介詞of。

6.我們明天去購物，好嗎？

[誤] Lets go to shop tomorrow, shall we?

[正] Lets go shopping tomorrow, shall we?

[析] 表示“去購物”，常說go shopping，類似的還有：go swimming去游泳，go fishing去釣魚。

7.她收到那封信感到很幸福。

[誤] She is quite happy with the letter.

[正] She is quite happy at/about the letter.

[析] 當表示“因……而感到幸福（高興）時，其后用介詞at/about，不用with。

Unit 6

1.昨天晚上有一場小雨。

[誤] There was a small rain last night.

[正] There was a light rain last night.

[析] 一場小雨用a light rain不用small，一場大雨用a heavy rain，不用a big/great rain。

2.多好的天氣啊！

[誤] What a fine weather it is!

[正] What fine weather it is!

[析] weather是不可數名詞，故不可加冠詞a。

3.我看到一本書在地板上。

[誤] I saw a book lieing on the floor.

[正] I saw a book lying on the floor.

[析] see sb.(sth.) doing sth.看見某人（物）正在干……，lie的現(xiàn)在分詞形式為lying。

4.一群男孩兒女孩兒在跳舞迎接兒童節(jié)。

[誤] A group of boys and girls is dancing to welcome the Childrens Day.

[正] A group of boys and girls are dancing to welcome the Childrens Day.

[析] a group of修飾復數名詞，謂語用復數形式。

5.他們和我像兄妹一樣。

[誤] They and I like brothers and sisters.

[正] They and I are like brothers and sisters.

[析] like作“像”講時是介詞而不是動詞，故前面要加be一類的動詞才可作謂語。
