The list of torchbearers for the BeijingOlympic Torch Relay is to be publishedshortly after the candidate’s qualificationsare confirmed.
The selection of the torchbearershas completed， as China’s provinces， theWorldwide Olympic Partners， the Inter-national Olympic Committee (IOC)， theChinese Olynrpic Committee， the BeijingOrganizing Committee for the Gamesof the XXIX Olympiad (BOCOG)， thetorch relay cities and the related national(regional) Olympic committees have com-pleted thorough organizational and plan-ning work as scheduled.
