China produced and sold approxi-mately 7.05 million vehicles in2006, a number that makes itseem that Chinese auto manufacturershave never been worried about how tosell such a large number of autos. Whilecompletely satisfying the domesticmarket, most Chinese automakers suchas Chery, Geely and Hafei, have alsoextended their sales networks to otherdeveloping countries. The Middle Easthas been one such popular destinationfor many of these companies.
