同學(xué)們,快樂的寒假結(jié)束了。 你們一定玩得很開心吧。其實每個人都有自己的快樂與不快樂。 這不,一頭小豬有了一件煩心事。我們一起來看看:
難度系數(shù):☆☆
There is a little pig living in the forest. He is happy everyday because he has some good friends. They often play together.
One day, he was not as happy as before because he thought he was fatter than all of his friends.
Look! His friend, a frog, came to see him.
“Leave me alone! I don’t want to play with you!” the little pig said sadly to the frog.
“Cheer up! What’s wrong with you?”
“I am fat, I think. I want to be thin.”
The next day, a zebracame to visit him.
“Hey, little pig, shall we go and play football?” said the zebra.
“Leave me alone! I am unhappy,” the little pig started to weep(抽泣).
“Cheer up! What’s wrong with you?” asked the zebra.
“ I am so fat. You are thinner than me.”
On the third day, a monkey came to his home.
“Little pig, little pig, let’s go and play basketball together, OK?”
“Leave me alone!” He began to cry(哭).
“Cheer up! My dear friend, what’s wrong with you?”
“I am too fat. You are much thinner than me.”
A few hours later, Mother Pig knew about his son’s sadness. She came to the little pig’s bedroom and stroked(撫摸) his head gently(輕輕地), “Don’t be silly, my son! You are a pig. That’s why you are fat. Be yourself and cheer up!”
Hearing this, the little pig felt happy again. He said sorry to his friends and they played happily together again.
同學(xué)們, 讀完了這個故事, 你知道“l(fā)eave me alone”和“cheer up”的意思了嗎? 對啦, 分別是“隨我去,讓我一個人呆著”和“振作起來,高興起來”。當(dāng)然我們還可以說 “Leave it alone!” “Leave him alone!”等。 如果你的朋友哪天不開心,要學(xué)會用 “cheer up”去鼓勵他。“學(xué)習(xí)在乎點滴勤”,愿你們多積累,多使用這些詞語。
