Once there was an old tiger. He didn't often go to look forfood himself.

One morning， the tiger was very very hungry. He said to amonkey， \"I'm hungry， Monkey. Go and bring me some food.\"

\"I Can' t do that ， Mr Tiger \" said the monkey. \"There's an-other tiger in the forest. He'syounger and stronger than youare. He told me not to bringyou anything.\"

\"What?\" shouted the tiger. \"Another tiger? I want to seehim. And I'll speak to him.\"

\"Come with me， Mr Tiger，\"said the monkey. \"You'll seehim yourself.\"

The monkey took thetiger to a big river， \"Look into the river，\" saidthe monkey. \"There he is! See his head? Lookat his big teeth. Isn't he bigger than you?\"

\"You told Monkey not tobring me anything?!

I'll killyou! \" With these words， the tigerjumped into the river... He did notcome out again.

\"Ha... ha... ha! Goodbye， MrTiger，\" laughed the monkey and hewent away.
