A wolf and a dog live near the farm. Oneday， the wolf was very hungry. So he wanted toeat something. The wolf saw some chickens onthe farm. He thought， \"Oh， I'd like to eat them! \"At night， the wolf ran into the chickens' homeslyly. The chickens were afraid of him. Theycried out in alarm and ran away. The dog wasawaken by them. He went out of his house andmet a chicken. The dog asked her， \"What's thematter with you?\" \"Oh， dear dog， a wolf is chas-ing us! He wants to eat us! Help us， please! \"The dog ran into the chickens' house quickly.But the wolf had eaten some chickens. The dogwas very angry and shouted: \"I'll fight withyou.\" Just at that mo-ment， a farmer came.He saw the wolf andwhipped him with awhip. The wolf washurt. He ran away andwas never seen nearthe farm.
