On March 26，\"Four Seasons in Xinjiang\"Photographic Exhibition-Xinjiang in a hundred Chinese and Overseas Photographers'Lens washeld in the China Millennium Monument，which was co-organized bythe State Council Information Office of the P.R.China，China's Photographers'Association and the Government of Xinjinang Uygur Autonomous Region of China．

Last year，the State Council Information Office of P.R.China，China's Pho-tographers'Association and the Government of Xinjiang Uygur AutonomousRegion of China co-organized the photographic collection activity Four Seasonsin XJ．The aim of this activity is to exhibit the brand of new modem styles，col-orful ethnic religion and culture，beautiful natural scene and to introduce theoverall development，stability and harmony in Xinjiang through the photogra-phers of chinese and overseas photographers'pictures of Xinjiang in Spring，Summer.Autumn and Winter with the main contents of social life，folklore cus-tom．natural scenes and the photographers'visual angle．

The collection activity invited over 40 domestic famous photographers and59 overseas famous photographers from the countries and regions such as theUS，Canada，British，Gemany，F(xiàn)rance，Italy and Taiwan．

With the total journey over 20，000 kilometers，the collection activity took57 days and had four groups-from January 9to21，June 5to18，August 4t0 19 and September 25 to October 8 in 2006 in 18 cities in Xinjiang．

In these modern cities and harvest land，photographers felt the fastdevelopment of Xnjiang．At the Corban Festival，Muqam Performance．Bazaar，Herdsmen Moving Ethnic Weddding and the families of commonpeople，they learned the real life of all peoples in Xinjiang．All these thingsinspired them to record down the natural scenes，social advancement．eth-nic unity，stability and harmony in Xinjiang with their unique view.Theycreated over 300，000 pictures in all.

This collection activity impressed all the overseas photographers putsteps on this miraculous land for the first time．

A German Photographer said，\"Here，we see a beautiful nation andkind people，and we will miss them.\"

A photographer from New Zealand said\"Xinjiang is my dreamland．Ihave never imagined that Xinjiang is so befdutiful and prosperous．All theelegance makes me think of coming again\"．

Many photograpbers showed that they are going to put the pictures in aalbum or hold exhibitions in their countries to let more people understandcountries．

\"Four Seasons in Xinjiang\"Photographic Exhibitjon selected over 500pictures to show the overview，spring，summer，autumn，winter and on-the-spot record of Xinjian Theses photographers reincerpreted Xinjiang withtheir lens with genuine feelings．
